Hey Yellow Rose, question? You wouldn't deny that Palin had influence over the ultimate decision her dauther made, right? Tell me we aren't influenced by what our parents believe? No she can't ulitmately take responsibility for the action in the end but she certainly influenced her daughter choices, good or bad, no? lol i think some parents try....but how many teens are having unprotected sex, drinking, drugs etc. unless the parent watches them 24/7 or locks them away....kids will do things to rebel. whether it's in small towns, big cities, religious, non religious it happens Well it's not really about trying, it's 'what' is being taught, and how the daughter relates to it and what she takes from it. As for the 24/7 watch, No argument there, don't think even Mirror would argue with that, but let's not pretend that Palin wouldn't have hide the whole thing if she could have. We can't say she wasn't quite clever, just transparent to the other side. i can talk until i'm blue in the face about my values to my son....in the end he can take them or decide the other way. but i don't think anyone really knows what happened with palin and her kids....we weren't there...we can only guess. for all i know she did try to teach her but bristol went her own way and maybe they are making the best of it as a family. i can tell my son not to drink and drive and if he does drink to call me or have someone else call me to pick him up....in the end it's his choice and he will have to deal with the consequences of his actions. but that doesn't mean i won't love him any less |

if my son become a dad as a teen....then the family would come together to help in whatever way....THAT is a family value do you really think that the press wouldn't pick up on the fact that bristol was an unwed teen mom? give some credit to the press....but she didn't hide her daughter in a closet or anything....the family stuck together. did it occur to anyone that was a part of the values she was talking about? if your parents didn't teach you these things....then they did a disservice to you even when a child "fails" the parents still love them....FAMILY VALUE  That may be consistent with YOUR family values and the family values of most Americans, but thats not what the republicans promote as being family values.  ok so what do the democrats promote? i happen to lean toward republican so not all are like you claim Then like most people who think they are republican, you dont actually know what you are supporting. wow that is a broad statement when you have no clue about me. but you didn't answer what democrats promote. i am only accountable for my actions....not others  Democrats dont generally run around bragging about their "family values"

I still wonder if Sarah Palin faked that one pregnancy to cover for her daughter, ya know the one were she flew accross the country after her water broke, knowing all along she was in a high risk pregnancy. We never did see the birth certificate on that one.   when junior runs for president, then you can ask for it Why didnt McCain show his birth certificate? he was born in Panama.

My impression was that he wanted out before she was selected as VP candidate and was coerced into acting all lovey dovey for the cameras. Kinda like the octomoom's birthing film, did you see it; the first few minutes are interesting, but it quickly becomes repetitive. Unwed teenagers, what is new about that?
