I apologize, boo2u,

This is what is known as an "amplified question". It polarizes the decision to a very high emotional degree.

But, there is a purpose behind doing so. It is so that we can clearly see the results of our actions.

I am not in a hurry. Sleep on it.

Myself, I'd rather die, than have someone condemned to death to save my life.

dogs defend and kill for what it love's, looks out for it's owner's safety, see's a sick one and nurse it to health, watches over children as they run and play...

what kinda dog you got...

it must be one that has become just as you, a slivering snake in the grass, that has but one object in this life, to protect it's weak ass scared self, a grown man, that leave's other's dying in ditch's, pointing the gun out when the time's get tough...

beware what one idolize, and inspect closely, as self become whatever it reveer, or despise...

You had me up until you got to the snake in the grass and the rest. I am not at all convinced Nogames is cruel, maybe a bit less emotional than we are for some reason when it comes to explaining his point of view, but hold up there David, let's see exactly where he is coming from.

it is not missed where he come's from, but to that which does not see past the viel, into the heart, where all past and present and future lie hidden.

all things once bitter, turn to sweet, so rest assured, all plight shall turn to good, and entreat well, with greater vision, that he has sought for some time, and he shall rise a true leader, for the difficult day's to come for all.

i see his doings, whether you do or not.

all is to be considered as ignorance, as nothing is reality, less it is true actuality, which is what come to pass.

the day's of vain talk are already past, what is spoken is what shall be created.

peace

Ok here's a situation for ya NOgames and the rest of you if you like.

I am 59 years old, I make enough money to keep the bills paid barely now because of the economy. Lets say I get sick tomorrow and because I can't afford a doctor I do some research on line and find out I have a certain kind of cancer that will kill me quickly if I don't get help now.

I have a cancer that there 'is' a recent a cure for. I have no insurance and no way to pay the extremely high cost of the cure. You are the closest hospital, private or otherwise.

Do you save me or turn me away? Just curious! I won't bite you if you tell me you would turn me away but then I want to know why either way...

The question is for everyone here, I am just curious, be honest!!

What you said earlier was probably the fist time I ever actuall understood what you said, must be a translation from your native language to english that throws me off, but you have clearly lost me again. To the point David, I need it to be short and to the point, or you lose me.

Ok I agree that is extreme as it comes, but there are so many situations that will never be that extreme. But I am with you on this one, I would never never never allow someone else to die to save me, they would have to do it when I wasn't aware of it but even then I would be livid if they did that. I just think that is wrong.

I know my answer already.

Definitely yes, if I am not being forced to.
If I am being forced, then it would be a definite no.

A man can not go against his principles. Such are mine, and I am bound by those.

such words as these, that say it will die for other's, shall be tested, make no mistake.

the day's of trevail are come, and nothing escape, lest it is as pure as a new born child.

the honesty of self, about itself, shall decide the fate, as no hiding will any longer abate, anything from justice.

Well I appreciate the honesty, and that you would save my life if not forced.. Big hug!! But let's deal with the forced part. So your saying that because taxation to help people like me and worse off then me, is forced? right? did I get that right?

But how would anyone get help if let's say most of the coutry would not voluntarily help me? Geesh did I say that right.. ugh for pete sakes Boo wake up...

I know my answer already.

I just don't agree. The way I saw it was, It was there all along, I just knew it before you went off on him, which of course irritated him as it would have me, and he came back at you because you went off the deep end before he could complete his train of thought.

Several characteristics that I like in a man: Character, integrity, empathy, and respect for others. None of those are submission to me.

You know Winx, I am not stupid like some. I can see you playing around.

You keep insisting on the "purpose" of the robbery, while the discussion is about the fact that it is, nevertheless, an armed robbery.

"The End Does Not Justify The Means", have you ever heard this phrase?

The fact that you seem to insist on just the opposite, that "the good ends" of this armed robbery, somehow justifies "the means", i.e. the robbery itself, kind of disqualifies you to be my judge on morality, don't you think?

All those characters you have mentioned, have their weight when something is done voluntarily.

But, let me guess, you're going to conveniently miss this point (again), and keep talking about morals of the robbery, right?

It never crossed my mind that you could ever be considered stupid. Not even close.

I do believe in the qualities that I said. In my eyes, your friend is just a bad as the other people that are screwing the welfare system. He IS screwing the system and no rationalization justifies that to me. The law is the law. If one had the qualities that I mentioned, they wouldn't be doing what he's doing by definition of those words.

The portion of the new stimulus which will be used for welfare is 1.1%.

For Wall Street financial bailouts-19.7%

Why pick on the disabled and those forced to collect welfare, just because a few abuse it?

I don't understand it myself, Fanta.

...he has chosen to be paid rather than to be drained.

It's called character and integrity, NoGames.flowerforyou

Paying as forced to? Not in my book! bigsmile

I call it a submission. This is what a dog would do, not a man.

Now I do agree with that, it's the same for me.. in a man or woman for that matter, just a bit harder to find men like that.

They're out there, Boo. I know them.

Bend down, pull his pants down, and say here, have me any way you want, mister big balls president? How disgusting.

It's a slippery slope, to say that it is o.k to steal as long as you don't take more than 1.1 percent.

- Either you must agree that this is wrong, because it is a robbery, no matter how much is taken.

- Or, you must show that it is in fact, not a robbery.

- A third choice, would be to draw a line, of how much stealing is o.k. In this case, we should not punish anyone that is poor, stealing or robbing that much or less. You can't allow the president what is not allowed to a last poor shmack.
