I can't believe that so many people have a lack of trust in our government's defenses. It's really a slap to the face, I think. Besides you said it yourself automatic weapons aren't much more dangerous than semi-auto, so what's the point of having auto? If a time does come where OUR militant forces cannot defend any attacks, I believe the government will be able to take proper actions. Believe me, we are not sitting ducks, and banning automatic weapons will not make us sitting ducks either. what about attacks on the home front??? like gangs...rapists...serial killers etc None have stopped by my house lately. i'll send them over lol...no wait..YOU are the one we have to look out for lol You heard what PolarityBear said.

There would be chaos in the judicial system before that would ever happen.

If for some reason i needed to defend myself against the trained men who have these automatic weapons i may be able to make use of them... You still fail to see. If you want to understand the reason for our right to bear arms, you have to look at our forefathers. Its not about hunting, or gaming, or sporting. It's all about self defense, against our own government. First thing Hilter did when he got inpower is advocate full gun registration. Then he took them away. Nothing is gonna stop a new Hitler from ruling the U.S. if we don't have access to decent weapons. Think about it... Not to mention gun control does not reduce crime rates. This is pretty much a proven fact.

scotus has no authority over the presidential executive orders. they would be considered terrorists also and be dealt with accordingly.
