I joined hoping to meet someone. Instead I have met many many wonderful people who I talk to online, on the phone, some I have met in person, some I will be meeting up with in the near future. Marie55 is like a sister to me, we will be meeting in September. I will also get to meet Polson at that time. No actually, a person found me from a site I was on long time ago..thought I had deleted my profile, ( I had to contact that other site, to make sure my profile was deleted) He contacted me through yahoo, and was local. So we talked for quite a while, there and on phone. He told me his yahoo messed up, and suggested I sign up here, so we could still chat. We talked, we met, and that was it..

I've been on here 14 months. There was a couple of guys but things just didn't work out. Have meet alot of people on here,that have made my days/nights go better and who's know I might even find a down to earth guy who is looking for a down to earth lady.

I heard about it from my friend who basically immediately found someone right after joining. And also her best friend met his gf here, and another one of her good friends is either married or marrying someone they met on here.

So I figured I'd give it a whirl.

As far as luck- Haven't had all that much yet. I have talked to one guy through a messenger a few times, and we were going to hopefully be hanging out in person some time this week but I haven't heard from him.

This is the only dating site i have stayed on since i started joining dating sites... the forums are fun, there are a ton of very smart, witty, interesting people on here...I have met (not in person) quite a few hopefulls on here.. but nothing has panned out...yet. I'm hopeful! Oh, and the free laptop for joining was a great incentive!
