Not to be jaded, but I feel you have to LOOK for true love and once you find it then you have to WORK to keep it! What is TRUE LOVE going to knock on your door and say HELLO?

I would like to thank the impassioned opinions of those for me and of those against my position. (It would not be a Montel Show without it!) :applause:

I was trying to give the short version.

Now for the longer version. (The woman is in town for only 2 weeks.)

The woman said she would she me on Thursday and call at 7:30 pm. I called and left VM.
She call back Friday morning at 9 am. She asked me to spend Saturday and Sunday at her house up here. (She says she has 2 houses.)

We speak on Saturday morning and I tell her I will call her after running errands. I call at 3:30pm. She TEXTS at 6:49pm saying "What happened to you today?" I work nights and was sleeping and called her back at 9:30 - 9:45pm. She is now in bed and does not want to drive.

She GUARANTEES me that she will pick me up at a time we decide. I say 10:30 - 11:00 am and she say 12pm NO LATER.
Now, this is where it starts to get good! THESE ARE VERBATIM!!
TEXT 11:41am "Will Be with you in An Half hour hope you Are ready.
TEXT 12:22pm "You ready"
TEXT 12:30pm "Im on my way are you ready."
TEXT 0103pm "Were are you i need to know were i am going"
TEXT 0134pm "Call you in a min came back home i road around waiting for you to call
me"
Now, I had called her after the 0103 pm text on both of her cell phones and received a vm on both.???!!!!

She did not come up with the blue tooth idea (left at home) until I had asked her why did she not answer the phone. When I told her the phone works without the blue tooth then she told me she was on the expressway. I then asked her did she not have to get off of the expressway in order to turn around to go back home?

NOW AMERICA!! Is is just me or was this all some big game by her? Would you or would you not be mad?

Or am I as a male wrong?

ANY person will teach how they would like to be treated. So not listen to the words, but watch the actions that follow. Every one likes a little adventure. MEN and WOMEN. They key is how to balance it.

The series of text messages (over 2 hours) were sent while she supposedly was driving to my house. However, she did not know where my house was due to the fact that she left the directions at home.

She said that here 12 y/o cousin was sending the text messages and she did not were her talking to a grown man to ask for my address. There was no good reason why she did not pull over and call me.

To be honest, I am not even sure she is in my city!!

I need to ask women some serious advice. Now, if a man encounter a women who is throwing a line of UNBELIEVABLE crap, fib, or dare we say a lie. How should a REAL MAN handle it?

E.g. I could not answer the phone because my blue tooth was at home. !!! LOL

or I could send you text messages, but could not call you because I was driving. (Well, why did you have me wait for 2 hours and not just pull over and call me?) Well I was on the expressway. Well, then if you had to turn around, then did you not have to get off of the expressway? !!!


I mean seriously, it does not pay to get mad or it does not pay to pretend that it does not happen. What suggestions do you have besides mine? Which is to step???

I personally, feel that I would give up my drivers license for 5 years! However, when I posted this question on another dating site, the overwhelming answer was to give up the right to vote??!!!

I believe that is to much and you can not grow yourself.

Try a website called meetup.com. There should be interest groups in your area. I have also heard to go volunteer in order to get yourself out there.

I do believe that two can stay "friends" after a break up. however there is the dynamic of new people that one dates after wards.

We all know that jealousy and insecurities will jump up!
