Never been to this thread but thought I'd give it a shot. Recently seperated and met a great guy. Hit it off but after going out a while as friends, he said he didn't want to be my rebound guy. What does that mean exactly?

Jag,the other day as I scooted accross the street there was a car coming but I felt had lot's of time and was surprised by this ass laying on his horn and then he leans towards the passengers window and gave me the finger.I can't believe how annoyed I have been about this Incident. If I hadn't been wearing high heeled boots and I wasn't on my way to an appointment I may have gave him a few words.What makes me sad is that I let someone elses bad behavior ruin my week.I bet that If I was some 20 yr old hottie the finger would not have appeared jmo.

What does that mean exactly? It means that he doesn't think you have been apart from your prior relationship long enough to be able to give 100% of yourself to someone.

I have to agree with you there Jag. No one wants to be the rebound person.What do you think is a reasonable length of time one should wait after seperating from there spouse before getting involved again .I also have started to date someone who is resently seperated and am in the same postion as her guy.

I have to agree with you there Jag. No one wants to be the rebound person.What do you think is a reasonable length of time one should wait after seperating from there spouse before getting involved again .I also have started to date someone who is resently seperated and am in the same postion as her guy. I honestly couldn't tell you. It is entirely dependent on the person. For some, it's just a few months. For others...it could take years. I wish I could be more helpful.

So glad it's going strong JAG....you deserve it my friend. Although I miss our frequent chats, I would give it up in a heartbeat knowing that you are spending time with a lovely gal. One of these days we'll have to arrange a double date or sumpin'. Had the inspection on the new furnace yesterday.....it failed.... Would it be wrong to chase after these contractors with a big flame, trying to light a fire under their butts?

jag I have a terrible sinus cold pain in my eye ivprophen doesn't seem to be cutting it any suggestion?

If you have any Vicks Vapo Rub....put some on the bottom of your feet, put your socks on, and lie down under a couple of blankets. I swear, it'll loosen up your sinuses and relieve some of the pressure.
