Dragoness, you really do need a hug don't you?

I would pity your childish attitude but being that I am a draconian I don't feel pity any more...

Your ignorance is refreshing...

I don't feel the guilt of conceit any more.

You are currently wearing the crown!

Long live the Queen!!!!

I can see why you are on a dating site...

I bet you are real lovely conversation in person...

Must intrigue the boys to no end with your sharp whit and Viper tongue...

My scales get all cold thinking about your scintillating arguments and well derived allegories. I can see you never got past High School in your growth as an adult!

Niceflowers

Clearly an unarmed opponent in a game of whits!

I love you too!

More laughs huh? Oh well analyze away Draconian, you cannot be farther from the truth but hey everyone has the right to their opinion be they what they may.

I remember when that story hit the news. I was curious because I liked some of the shows Fox starred in.

After doing some research, I acquired the actual audio of Rush talking about Michael J. Fox.

Rush wondered out loud if Michael J. Fox was acting like his condition was worse than it really is, since Fox seemed to have much better motor control in a different interview a few days earlier.

Later it was discovered that Michael J. Fox stopped using his medication shortly before the show in question, which caused his symptoms to look worse than a few days before.

This entire bit was not even an accusatory attack on Fox, instead it was part of a discussion about the media. Unfortunately, once a false story comes out, it is difficult to bring the truth to light.

Besides which Fox is a white male, so this would not be example of prejudice even if it were true.

Rush aside, which is definitely where he belongs slung aside like the trash, Obama is doing a good job considering what he is up against. He is trying to assign different people to his cabinet that have a variety of views. He even tried to get a republican in and the republican could not be bipartisan enough to accept, sad.

The experts who have studied the last depression have told him to do these things to help stop the downfall. He is listening and trying to the best of his ability to do it and he is trying to get the republicans on board which is one of his many promises that he is keeping.

Prejudice covers all kinds, prejudice against the disabled is one of the worst kind in this country. To question a person who has a terrible disease like Parkinsons and accuse them of acting out their symptoms is just like all the faux conservatives stating the welfare recipient is a lazy and deserves to be discriminated against because of their status. There is no difference. It is ugly.

The New, old Welfare system took away the incentive to work.
Before Reform, generations of families were career recpients.
Baaaaad idea.

I can control my fire breath for the most part. I don't even get a fire going over these threads, believe it or not. I post my opinion and they either like it or they don't that is how it goes. It is after all only my little ole opinion.

I agree, the old welfare system actually trapped people by not giving them enough money to job search or buy clothes for said job and then there was daycare costs and all that. The reform, which I helped institute here in Colorado was designed to first address each persons issues and then get them into short term training if needed or out searching for a job if not. And putting a five year life time limit on it lets people know it is not a long term solution.

The republican initially accepted, and even agreed to be supportive of a stimulus bill he did not like. Then Obama undercut his own appointee by moving authority over several key projects, so that the newly appointed cabinet member would be just a figure head.

Obama's ultra left wing agenda is delaying the economic recovery, as was expected when he was elected.

About the only good thing Obama has done, is to take extreme partisan positions, while actively trying to discourage broad bipartisanship.
