I dont have grass.....just weeds......I live in the desert.

OR nurse here, I take care of one pt. at a time and they are asleep.

no, that is a habitual choice. If you know you pick men like that, you can learn to choose different men.

Nurses can be fun people. I was telling the nurse tonight I can deal with the colostomy bag of this one dementia resident but I can't deal with this spoiled brat resident ordering me to take her to the bathroom while I am trying keep the stoma clean of the other resident. Thanks to that nurse I can vent better, today. I can vent loud without cussing and throwing a temper tantrum myself. The nurse has been wonderful to me except the few write ups she has given me, of course. I was just asking her this morning would you please quit giving this one resident laxatives she is hard enough enough to deal with when she does her Exorcist movie impersonation. She asked me if I thought she was a miracle worker and I told her that she had that whole med cart and surely there must be a magic wand in there somewhere. She replied that most people think that magic wand is a broom. I didn't even call her a witch.

i usually dont have a problem with the staff i work with. always eager to help me out...dont even gag when i ask somebody to helpchange some poop when they are trying to eat.

i personally love it when my patients have ostomy's....makes cleanup easier.
