i usually dont have a problem with the staff i work with. always eager to help me out...dont even gag when i ask somebody to helpchange some poop when they are trying to eat.
i personally love it when my patients have ostomy's....makes cleanup easier. drain it and dump it. its the gooy poopy that i gotta clean offa the backside that gets me some nights. swear ive probably given some ulcers rubbing that cdiff away... this PSHT i dont MIND.....especially if people help me turn or staff does. through some HIV infected kleenexs onn my floor and im just done. no baths for that man...somebody else can clean his urine smell offa him, idc |

Well, this one LPN and me have had our differences. I got my CNA when she got her LPN two years ago. She knows how to push all my buttons and we have had some altruistic arguments about state rules. But she always asks for me and likes working with me. I have worked for her and with her. Like sometimes the aides and the other nurses will ask what I am doing there on my days off at first then they got wiser and asked me who called off. Like tonight one aide stormed off in a huff and I was called in. Thankfully, I don't have a real life so I don't have the excuse that my significant other wanted me to stay home or that my kids had to be taken to the hospital. I am really thinking of writing a book called, "Excuses - The real story."

That is cool. I wish all I had to be responsible for is a few residents. Instead its go get her bra back on or she can't be out in the hallway like that. How come this resident's alarm isn't hooked up? Why didn't you come in here four hours ago and find that piece that goes to her mask inhaler? I just had to call her P.O.A. And do you know what that made me look like when you found the missing piece in the floor with the lady from the emergency room? I hope they don't take it out of my paycheck. Or tonight. You are trouble on no matter what shift you are on. Quit babying her and learn how to say no. You are going to have to stop letting her manipulate you like that. Where are all of the other aides? I got to get these meds passed. You are going to have to deal with her yourself.

I am so thankful for the nursing care that I have received my many stays in the hospital.
Thank you just isn`t enough for the care and concern that you show your patients. I have always enjoyed making the nurses that were assigned to me laugh. even when I did not feel like laughing, I knew that my nurses needed a laugh. When I broke my leg a year and a half ago, the nurses on midnights would bring in other nurses for me to tease and get them to laugh too. I wish that I could have given them back more. But laughter and a smile makes anyones day. Thank you once again. I realize that this was kind of off of the topic, but I want you to know that I appreciate the nurses assigned to me when ever I am in the hospital. |
