hey joy

sort of busy.... had my son and his friends stop by for a bit.. he's moving back home... I get home and my 13 yr old is keeping his hand in his jacket pocket and asking me to do simple things for him, he said his hand hurt... I finally got him to show me his hand and it's very swollen.. Apparently he punched a kid and when he did he also hit the desk... I'm worried it's broken, so going to see what it does by the morning and maybe take him to urgent care for xrays...

can they move it at all???




I have messed my hand up plenty of times,broke it 3 times

yes, he can move it but since I can't feel the pain I have no clue and he says it hurts a lot but he doesn't think it's broken...

I can tell ya now,if it was he would let ya know.

So if it's not broken should I wrap it, leave it? what do you do? I've never broken a bone, have only fractured my wrist and pulled the tendons and ligaments in my toes which they just give you crutches for... LOL...

I have had so many broken bones in my life,suprised I can still walk.



he more then likely just bruised it.it does take a lot to break.

you may wrapp it with a cloth and some ice.let it go till the morning and see it what it looks like then

What happened Rare?

I had ice on it on and off all evening OC.. I guess that's about all I can do until I see if there's more to it...

I have pulled tendons and ligaments in my leg,it brought me to the ground real fast

yes the tendons do that.. I've done it so many times and if people think I'm clutzy normally, I about kill myself when they give me crutches..

idk sweetie.. my 4 yr olds hand is broken and she hasnt complained of the pain since about 5 min after it got slamed in the car door.. she can move it.. she can twist and bend it.. but it is broken..
