Moff? Just WHO the heck is "Moff"?

Anywhoo- there was a case not too long ago about some defective lithium-cell batteries coming from Sony (who essentially has the market cornered on that kind of stuff- your electronic gadget doesn't even need to be branded as "Sony" to have such batteries) that will essentially suffer from bad cells.

The bad cells will either just cut out or (in several cases) explode and cause a pretty serious fire, and isn't limited to laptops, either- cell phones, digital photo/video cameras, practically anything that has a lithium battery in it will be at risk.

You might be getting a batch of "questionable" batteries from your store or supplier, which would explain the going's on there.
