THERE IS A BIG BIG BIG DIFFERENCE

BETWEEN

QUESTIONING GOD

VERSUS

ASKING GOD QUESTIONS !!!

SURE....

WE CAN STILL GO RIGHT AHEAD AND QUESTION GOD ANYWAY....

AND GOD AIN'T GONNA STRIKE US DOWN FOR IT !!!!

BUT ...

GOD CAN NOT AND WILL NOT

ANSWER A PERSON WHO JUST WANTS TO

QUESTION GOD .....

VERSUS A PERSON WHO REALLY WANTS TO

KNOW GOD...AND ASK GOD QUESTIONS!!

GOD WAITS FOR US TO COME TO HIM

AND WANTS US TO

ASK QUESTIONS OF HIM!

THAT'S SEEKING GOD !!!

GOD DOES NOT WANT ROBOTS!!

REMEMBER?

AND THEN...

WHEN WE DO ASK QUESTIONS (OR SEEK GOD)....

THEN GOD IS FREE TO ANSWER!!!

CAUSE THEN GOD ISN'T JUST PUSHING

THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHO HE IS ,

ON US....

AGAINST OUR WILL!!

SEE?

AGAIN....

GOD WANTS US TO ASK QUESTIONS OF HIM!!

BUT...ONCE MORE....

QUESTIONING GOD

IS NOT THE SAME AS

ASKING GOD QUESTIONS !!!

TO THE ONE WHO SINCERELY SEEKS AFTER

GOD AND ASK QUESTIONS,

GOD WILL ANSWER...

TO THE ONE WHO JUST QUESTIONS GOD,

GOD WILL NOT ANSWER.

NOW.....SOMETIMES.....

IF WE JUST KEEP ON QUESTIONING GOD.....

OVER AND OVER AND OVER...

INSTEAD OF SEEKING OR ASKING GOD....

AND IF WE KEEP ON JUST SHAKING

OUR FIST AT ALMIGHTY GOD...

OVER AND OVER AND OVER.....

AND KEEP ON AND ON AND ON ,

TELLING GOD WE THINK WE KNOW

GOD BETTER THAN GOD ...

WELL...

BECAUSE GOD LOVES US....

GOD WILL EVENTUALLY GET OUR ATTENTION!!

AND IT MAY BE DONE IN A WAY

WE WON'T PARTICULARLY LIKE !!!!

OUCH!!!

ONCE MORE....

QUESTIONING GOD IS ONE THING.

ASKING GOD QUESTIONS IS ANOTHER.

QUESTIONING GOD ....GOD WILL NOT ANSWER.

ASKING GOD QUESTIONS ....GOD WILL ANSWER.

YHWH loves questions. That's His business.

Yahushua said" "until now you have asked me naught in My Name.(the Name Yahushua, not jesus). Ask and you shall receive,in order that your joy might be complete." John 16:24

He aslso said "Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you" Mathew7:7

"For everyone who asks receives , and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened." Mathew7:8

Just Ask!

Sure there is.

But if I came to you and told you that I speak for God would you question my authority to speak for God?

Of course you would!

Well, that's what people are doing whtn they question the authority of the idiots who wrote the Bible.

To question whether the Bible is the word of God is NOT the same as questioning God.

Clearly.

I totally denounce the Bible as being the fabrication of truly ignorant and manipulating men.

I don't believe my creator was like those idiots claimed.

That is NOT questioning God.

That is denouncing a bunch of bigots who claimed to speak for God.

I call them on their blaspheme!

They things they claimed about God are ungodly!

Period.

So I denounce the authors of the Bible has having nothing at all to do with God.

That is NOT the same as questioning God.

Krosma you have every right to question. Believer are suppose to be able to answer every question given to them. This is one of the ways believers show thier love for Yahweh. Blessings of Shalom...Miles

Well, if believers are supposed to be able to answer every question given to them, then I have never met a true believer in my life because I have never met anyone who was able to answer the questions.

So I guess there are no true believers around then.

That's all I know to conclude.

Even the clergy of all the gazillion sects of the religion can't agree with each other. laugh

I was just going to say, while I thank Miles for the effort, it really hasn’t been very helpful. Often times I try to read his extended exegesis (sometimes lacking in any apparent punctuation) and I am simply more confused than before I asked the question. It’s painfully obvious to me why even different denominations of Christians will argue amongst one another. There is simply no consensus of opinion on any of this.

Question: "Why did Jesus have to die?"

Answer: When we ask a question such as this, we must be careful that we are not calling God into question.

To wonder why God couldn’t find “another way” to do something is to imply that the way He has chosen is not the best course of action and that some other method would be better.

Usually what we perceive as a “better” method is one that seems right to us.

Before we can come to grips with anything God does, we have to first acknowledge that His ways are not our ways,

His thoughts are not our thoughts—they are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8).

In addition, Deuteronomy 32:4 reminds us that

“He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just.

A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.”

Caesar, who declared himself a god, made the claim also that he could also "do no wrong." Yet he was purely evil and wicked, as was his father before him.

President Richard Nixen is quoted as saying about crime: "When the President does it, it is not a crime."

Gods in power and powerful leaders put themselves above the law and demand not to be questioned. They claim to be above questioning.

This means that they are not perfect as they claim to be, but that are just so powerful, no one will dare to challenge them, therefore we must all be forced to agree that they are perfect and without sin and innocent of any crime. We are put at their mercy because we are at the mercy of their awesome power.

I disagree with this way of thinking Morningsong, because it is wrong, plain and simple.

All sentient beings must be accountable. None are "perfect." Many are powerful, but that does not make them right or perfect.

Evidence affirms that the sinless Jesus bled and died on a cross.

Most importantly, the Bible explains why Jesus’ death and resurrection provide the only entrance to heaven.

The punishment for sin is death.

God created earth and man perfect. But when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s commands, He had to punish them.

A judge who pardons law-breakers isn’t a righteous judge. Likewise, overlooking sin would make the holy God unjust.

Death is God’s just consequence for sin. “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).

Evidence confirms no such thing.

The wages of sin (disobedience of God) is only "death" because your so-called "God" said so.

This is the treat the Alien lords held over mankind, who were their slaves. Disobey your master, and you will be put to death.

A father does NOT make these kinds of rules for his children. A father loves his children. He does not kill them if they disobey him. The God you speak of is not the true God, and if he is, he is not a loving father. He is a powerful overlord who demands obedience.

This is very true.

I question the Bible, the Pope, Pastors, Preachers, Ministers, and anyone who tells me they speak for God.

But if someone dies, or if an earthquake destroys a city, or if someone steals my purse, or if I get a terminal disease, I don't question God.

If a tornado hits my house, or if an innocent child is murdered and raped...or if I went blind, I don't question God and ask him how he let that happen.

Things happen for reasons we will never know. But to curse some invisible God who if he exists, probably does not give a rats ass, is a waste of time.

I don't hold some unknown entity called "God" responsible for this holographic thought created dream reality.

We are responsible for it. We created it. We are God.

Blaming or questioning God is as futile as blaming and questioning The President of the United States because your car didn't start or even because gas prices are too high.

He don't care.

The punishment for sin is death.

MS- so are you stating that the reason that we all die is because we're all sinners?

MS- so are you stating that the reason that we all die is because we're all sinners?

So god made us without knowledge of evil, immortal, expected us to know that it would be evil to disobey even without this knowledge . . . then once we disobeyed ate the fruit, then we get born into sin which means we must die . . .

So we where made to die and sin against him so we could then grovel for forgiveness for being born . . . what a freaking sadist god must be.

Then after a huge period of god watching us suffer, die of horrendous disease that one can only attribute to the creator, he decided to send down himself in the form of his son to die for himself to appease himself so that we can get a second chance . . . . after of course HE set us up for all this.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
laugh frustrated laugh

So not only is god sadistic. He is schizophrenic.

The abstract idea of this makes sense if you consider the case of a young woman who went insane when her lover left her and she lost her sense of time. She continued to think that she was 20 years old and that he was coming back to her.

As a result of her belief that she was 20, she never appeared to grow any older. At age 70 most doctors who examined her believed her to be about 20.

This is proof that our minds can effect our health and our aging process, and it also indicates that our thoughts create our personal reality.

"Sin" can be thought of as negative thinking and negative feelings. Our dis-ease can be caused by our state of mind as much as anything else.

I worked in a nursing home for three years and one of the patients I took care of had been in there for 30 or so years because of physical (and mental) problems. She did not seem to have much going on in her mind, and was almost a vegetable. She was over 70 years old and yet there was not a wrinkle on her face. If her body and mind could have been recovered, she would have looked about 35 years old.

This indicated to me that the real meaning of "sin" is in our own thoughts and beliefs in which we create our reality.

A pure mind that thinks positive thoughts may very well be able to live indefinately.

The fountain of youth is within the mind and soul....
