The crowd packed on the west side of the Capitol grounds serenaded President Bush in mocking fashion when he took to the inaugural stage alongside Vice President **** Cheney.

"Nah nah nah nah, hey hey, good-bye," a section of the crowd chanted.

The crowd acted completely without class.

Awwwwweee... c'mon, keep in mind nobody ever accused liberals/democrats of having class... just class envy. Look how long it took them to get over the 2000 election... uhhhh scratch that... some still haven't and never will.

Are you saying they acted like Ann Coulter does ALL the time?

BTW, aren't you a big fan of hers? You buy all her books, etc.?

Bushindobillyclub,

Have you ever heard the saying "There are two sides to every story"?

I am not ashamed of the fact that I'm a fan of Ann Coulter. Have you read her columns? Have you watched her interviews? She's very intelligent and witty. Yes, she's sarcastic and biting, but so are you and Kerry O and I still like both of you. I just don't see how anyone who is sarcastic can be judgmental of Ann Coulter for doing the same.

Anyways, you should wonder a bit if Kerry O has a bone to pick with me. I did call him a "jackass" over a year ago because he said that Ann Coulter hated women or some such silly thing. I have apologized, but he can't let it go. You will notice that whatever I post, if he responds he will always mention "Ann Coulter". Sorry, but Al Franken is at least as bad as Ann Coulter and I wouldn't be chasing someone around from forum to forum typing "Don't you like Al Franken"?!!!!

Anyways, I have purchased one of her books (not all as Kerry O. suggests in his fervor to condemn me). I have only read one of her books (the one I purchased). But I do read her weekly column.

Her latest column took on the New York Times for suggesting that Veterans are more likely to commit murder than an average American. I think that anyone who values the truth and journalistic integrity would have a hard time disagreeing with her points in the column, although one may disagree with how she makes her points.

Entertaining the mention of a lack of class from...

Oh never mind.

Also interesting that there was no mention of the other fine examples of very classy behavior from a number of persons of both parties.

If you really believe that, why are you here bellyaching over something sarcastic a crowd did today? Why don't you just chalk it to that Political Incorrectness for which Ann Coulter is so famous and cut the drama?

Really, archconservatives like yourself are always pooh-poohing playing the Victim Card? Why are doing it on now on GWB's behalf?

No, just pointing out the inconsistencies of your positions at times, that's all.

"Be all our sins remembered", eh?

Besides, I don't think Al Franken's that funny. The best humor always comes from off- the-cuff remarks made amongst people who work and play together. I regularly get the ex-military guys I work with laffing so hard the tears run down their faces with an opportunistic quip about the seriously silly inconsitencies we encounter while procuring the Daily Bread.

Would that :::cough::: 'journalistic integrity' :::cough::: include such things as attacking all the men who disagree with her by calling them 'girly boys'?

I hesitate to respond, but I feel that you might be able to take this correction without taking personal offense.

Ann Coulter is a political commentator and her column is a syndicated editorial. In other words, she's not a journalist, so when I said "journalistic integrity", I wasn't talking about her. I was talking about the New York Times, which produced an article suggesting that those guys you joke around with are dangerous at the least and murderous at worst.

They (the New York Times) are journalists, their job is the only one protected by the Constitution, so they are expected to be honest and fair with the news they report. They are sometimes called the fourth branch of the government, because their jobs are constitutionally protected.

Oh please. Ann Coulter is slapstick political freakshow, pure and simple.

Besides, I'm a political commentator for Mingle Squared, ::::cue humming of 'America The Beautiful":::: but *I* don't have chutzpah to claim I'm the oversight committee for the last bastion of Liberty, Freedom, Justice and The American Way (tm)! Conversely, Conservative Talk Radio has made doing that into an art form.

Oh, and one last point. I don't read the New York Times. Or the Washington Times, for that matter.

Well I am sure you would have seen more mocking of Bush during his presidency if those who opposed him were allowed out of the fenced areas physically removed from the view of Bush in designated protest zones.

Isn't it grand to see real Americans expressing their opinions?

Something tells me that those who approve of mocking President Bush would be angry if President Obama were mocked. There are always ways to disagree, but still respect the office.

really now?
they were expressing the feeling of the vast majority of the nation, and the world in general.
i can't believe there still are some people who talk in favor of that DOG.
Finally, the USA has a person with a vision, not a puppet in the government.

The only thing which could have made this inauguration better.
