"Oh, the Places You'll Go!!" Prescott Valley, Arizona--which is about 5200 feet above sea level. :-) I don't just travel. I AM wherever I go, and I do not return to anywhere. I was in Oregon, and then I was in Alaska for a couple of years..and now I am here, in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

I just completed a 3 wk, 6,000 mile road trip from Ohio to northern Idaho and back.. Spent a couple of days in Rapid City visiting Mt Rushmore, Sturgis, Deadwood and other places in that area, then on to Glacier National Park in northern Montana... Was in Wyoming, Wisconsin, Ill and Indiana and Missesota too.. Met lots of people from here and another site.. Had a great time.!!

"Nellie Lake" a high Sierra lake in, coincidentally, the Calfifornia Sierra mountains, on a day hike with the Sierra Club. Not a tough hike by Sierra club member standards, only a "moderate" day hike. Four miles up, lake, four miles down. 2000 foot climb in the four miles. Used to backpack regular, trying to re-establish lungs an legs, thought I would die. Only the first leg up really hurt. I was alone in the lake swim, which was a shame, because the water was cold at 8,000 feet, but not take-your-breath-away by any means, a great swim.

Vegas but that shouldn't count that is just a mini vaca. Last real vacation was last summer to Bahamas. A very beautiful place that I want to visit again. Atlantis is incredible. And Breezes an inclusive resort is wonderful. I planning my Hawaii trip next. Tic toc 8 months away....can't wait! Any ideas or must sees let me know....
