Just back from North Carolina and got a nice tan.. weather was beautiful the last few days, sunny and hot!!

Going to Ipswich on Tuesday, but i dont count that as travelling.

Colorado

Scotland in Sept. for three weeks. First six days in Edinburgh, then rented a car and headed for the highlands! Had a great time. Castles, kilts,lochs and misty islands. Visited the town where my greatgrandmother was from. Finished up in Glasgow and came home with over 1200 photos. I would highly recommend a visit to Scotland.

I just spent the last week in Denver. Had a wonderful time, but unfortunately, I'm home now.

Arkansas

I went to Ipswich, in Sussex. Went for a suit fitting, but stayed the night and toured the bars. Started off in a pub which was on tv recently as being the 'hardest pub in Britain', there was nobody else in there, so we were the hardest people in the hardest pub! A few pubs later we got talking to a guy in a skiffle band who sang us a song about going to see his grandma, who was dead. It was an open mic night and his band played a couple of songs, thery were pretty good actually, but the rest of the acts were laughably rubbish. We then found a late night bar which had a shelf full of kentucky whisky which we had to sample all of. On the walk home we polished off a bottle of wine we brought as an emergency in case we couldnt find a late night bar. The next day, i was pretty worn out.

Uh...Miami, but the Galapagos Islands was the last place worth mentioning.

I went to the Outer Banks in NC last week.
