Work -- ungh. Today, my work took me to a place in Iraq called Rustamiyah. It is in the SE section of Baghdad.

I LOVE Canyon Lake....I used to camp there when I lived in San Antonio!! i loved s.a. it's beautiful there. btw your pic makes me double take nearly every time. i keep wondering how you pulled off that hair in a military pic and then i realize that it's a caveman. lol . . . Classic...I swiped the pic from the "even a caveman can do it commercials" and superimposed it on a rea shot. I wish I could pull off the look in uniform for real. I am growing a porn stach this month. So far I hate it!! |

Whats the last place you travelled to??? That would be when I drove to Mt. Hood, Oregon. I was there for a week during the week of the Fourth of July back in 2007 for a job. It was quite the harrowing experience. |

British Virgin Islands.. beautiful beaches...made great friends.. lots of islands to explore

I went to Turk Caicos, Grand Turk island to go scuba. Hurricane Hanna hit the next day. We sat at the bar while Hanna circled our Island for four days (check the hurricane track). We finally got a little break in the weather so we hired a tour bus. Bus got flooded out and we had to push it through high water to dry ground. We got really really bored so a few of us went swimming in the surf in hurricane force winds. Hurricane Ike was coming. There was a small window between Hurricane Ike and Hanna so we were able to hang at the airport and catch a flight to Miami. Hurricane Ike severely damaged over 80% of the structures on the island.
Got back to Houston. Ike hit me bullseye a few days later. I am still dealing with the mess. As usual I had a ton of fun. Never got to dive. |

i just got back sunday on a trip from florida to georgia to south carolina. i hit up atlanta, athens, savannah and greenville south carolina. went to three concerts and 2 museums. It was so fun!

Just flew in to Boston this morning via Atlanta. Spending a few days with my brother's family just across the border in New Hampshire.
