I have been single since mid October, or early December. That is when circumstances got bad enough to blow me out of my denial and rationalizations. I chose to be single because it was healthiest for me. I'm single because I wasn't willing to live with that much risk or danger in my life. I wasn't willing to take a chance on losing that much, or "dying for love". Even though I felt terribly betrayed, angry, resentful, embarrassed, ashamed, guilty, frustrated, deceived (and more) by the other and by myself, I needed to learn to let go with love, with no expectations or investment in the outcome. I still love. Yes, I know I'm being purposely vague. I need to be.

Why are you SINGLE? what happened? how long have you been single? Females have been taught to ask this question of males fairly early on. But to ask on the first date or two will be sure to scare them away.

I tend to make men move... out of state (that's my story and I'm sticking to it officer). at least they dont run off to Africa...I think you are in good shape!

I chose to be single because I am working on my master's degree, working my full time job, and doing a part time internship. I have no time for a relationship until school is done. That is why I am single.

lol.... this is a question i have asked myself. I have three kids and a job. I dont want to date women i work with or friends either. There is a beautiful lady at work too that i know that things work for us. But all the complications make it impossible, besides she is a very good friend but i think about her a lot. My weekends are often with my children and if i dont give them that time then when? I dont dig the bar scene and i'm not looking for a bootie call even though i probably wouldnt have the strength to resist. So basically i'm a divorced man with three kids and wonder if i can even be a good mate? So after a year and half lonely im hoping i find someone that understands. But what are you gonna do i have baggage and thats just a reality. So if there are any nice ladies out there with baggage i hope you conatact me.

You might need to consider somebody with "matching luggage" at this point because everybody has some baggage...but that doesn't mean you won't find someone.
