so say someone you met here tells you a little fib for no good reason. do you forgive their lapse in judgment or assume this is their nature?

I guess I'm just wanting to hear that I'm not a jerk for feeling that way. I'm feeling conflicted over not forgiving something so small.

I'd say Next!! yeah that's kind of where I'm at. For me high school was over along time ago, just could not be bothered with games like that. I hope all is well with you.

Depends on what they lied about. I've had guys lie about their height- no biggie. Then I've had guys lie about being married- ew.

I am sorry I find little lies turn in to bigger and bigger lies as time goes on, I despise people who lie personally.

Or could you make up a similar fib for me to judge from? he has facebook and I have myspace. he made like he was joining myspace while we were on the phone and even made some comment about how he already had a friend request even though he just joined myspace shows a persons sign up date and he actually joined a year ago.

Judge not, that ye not be judged... if you have NEVER told a white lie, then you get to play judge and jury... and decide to forgive or not to... wanna be brutal... go for it....just shows who you decide to be is all.. and remember YOU said LITTLE white lie...

If this person is in THIS setting, a safe computer away, and still feels the need to put out little white lies NOW, imagine what would be to come if you got to know him/her in real life. This is one of the SAFEST venues to BE YOURSELF without tooooo much harm or humiliation to ego. If you didn't like something about each other from this platform, it's "no real loss", so WHY LIE, WHITE OR BLACK!!!??? People lie to GET SOMETHING OR SOMEONE.

I just don't know how the conversation will go. I already talked to him about it earlier today. at first he was defensive, then he apologized I should have waited to talk to him until I knew how I felt about it because now I just want to run away!
