What on earth would possess me to even want to forget you? Except that I do not know you; but assuming that I did...should I desire to forget living? Forget to breathe? Forget the graced time of life that was the fullness of potential and the best of all destinies? Forget even the reasons for parting, the tears, the sorrows and anguish, each of which is the proof of living more fully and more deeply than the deathly pointlessness of being alone? Why should I forget? Tell me, for it is a mystery of nonsense that threatens catastrophe upon the desires of my heart, crushing with trepidation the purpose of my soul.
