I see the contradiction in the actual passages. Not to mention that he is described as having other kids with another woman. Or what is most likely is that the Jewish scribe corrupted the text and inserted the name Isaac because it is a known fact that the Jewish nation does look down upon Ishmael and his descendents, so therefore they simply put the name Isaac to make it seem that all blessings were for them and very little for Ishmael. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I see these passages as explicit contradictions and the Christians are blind to that. Oh well. |

Yep. Like the great and powerful Wizard of Oz, nobody can see God and live. Not nobody. Not Nohow. Exodus 19 19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Has he "Revealed" himself to anyone yet? ![]() |

Contradiction:
Genesis 25:1-2 Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. Thats clearly contradictory even without the Ishmael/Issac issue |

Thats clearly contradictory even without the Ishmael/Issac issue ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No the "contradiction" is that in the bible itself, it clearly states that Abraham has ONLY one son. Then it states that he has more than one son. That is the contradiction. I have posted this several times now. Thats why I am pointing this out since people only seem to think that there was Issac Thats because the bible is contradictory on that point. |

If that were the case, then whoever wrote this probably should have been smart enough to indicate that. Nope. Instead he wrote Abraham had ONLY one son, then in several other passages, he writes well actually Abraham has this and this and this son. You cant do that. Its whats referred to as a "continuity flaw." ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And so again we go about in circles... Yet... Evolution is a concept that came from a created creature and is therefore a created concept. and creation evolves. as far as creating things each according to their kind... Lets create a zebra... start with rock (as that was present) 'from the earth'. Wait... before you can have a zebra it needs to have water, food and air... quick put in some bacteria to break down the rock... let some part of that bacteria EVOLVE to make air... Another to create food... Then wait a few centuries for all that to come about... well gosh darn... might as well let the zebra grow from the soup... Gonna be a while anyway. Not in my time but gods. |
