I used to have movie nights with my kids when they were teens.

My oldest daughter, now 32 told me one movie night had a permanent affect on the way she viewed love. It was a double header.

First Romeo & Juliet Directed by Franco Zeffirelli 1968.

Followed by Sid & Nancy Directed by Alex Cox 1986.

I would highly recommend both movies if you haven't seen them.

Another one I thought of recently:

Anne of Green Gables.

Story of a girl who is adopted by a brother and sister, living on a farm in Prince Edward Island, both getting on in years. They intended to adopt a boy, and got a girl instead.

That's when the love comes in.
