I am soooooo lucky. Got a very small but very close knit family. We haven't had an arguement in almost 19 years. Everytime we speak to each other we always tell one another that we love each other. Couldn't ask for a better down to earth loving and accepting family. My Dad is so proud that all of his friends envy our relationship.

I'm close with my immediate family, but I think that my extended family are from a different planet.

While I'm close to my parents, sister, and her kids, I've been noticing a certain lack.... I have 10 cousins and 4 sets of aunts and uncles. Out of the 14 of them, only my most anti-social cousin's wife sent a Christmas card.

Are you and your family close? Not really, except for one or two exceptions. I can barely stand to be near the rest of them, though.

I am close with my mom and my sister, but don't talk to my dad thanks to my step monster. I talk to my sister almost everyday. My brother is so busy with his 4 kids and his wife that they are sort of in their own world. I am closer with most of my friends than I am with my family.

I have only one sister but 16 cousins and most of them have kids and yes we are close. The hard part is trying tofind time to do things together.

Are you and your family close? Not really...too much crap from the past getting in the way of how we interact today. As long as we stay away from certain topics, we're ok. Oh, and as long as we don't feed Uncle Bob after midnight everyone lives to see another day.
