It seems as though the bakery has the right to refuse service to anyone they want for any reason if it is a privately owned and operated enterprise. Say someone came in and wanted one of those "genitalia" cakes made of a penis or something and they didnt approve of that, there is nothing stopping that person from simply finding a bakery that doesnt mind making those kinds of cakes, just not them.

I read about this the otherday... I love how they say they aren't racist yet the little girls name has aryan race in it... It was really pathetic.

I think I might have been tempted to report these parents to CPS to tell you the truth if I was the bakery shop owner. It also would appear that they were purposely conspiring to create a public media circus because why else would they go to a public business establishment with a request of this nature? They could have easily baked a cake at home and wrote that on there with frosting.

It seems fairly obvious these parents have some political and social positions they want to share with the world and are using their kids to do so.

They wanted their fifteen minutes of fame and they got it.

The article also says they requested a cake at the same bakery two years before. So, did they find a bakery last year that did make the cake for them? Why did they ask a bakery that had already declined to make a cake to do it again?
