Ok so if you are going on a trip
When should you start packing? I started 6 1/2 days ahead of time

Um I started turning into a super neat freak a couple weeks ago

Sounds like you are a planner. I start the day before. Then I end up
running around trying to get things done and my place ends up becoming a mess and then I have no time to clean it and I am always coming back to it. Hmmm me thinks I need to change that

I don't know, I just grab some stuff as I walk out the door, and if I
forgot something then I either don't need it, or I will get it when I get there....

It depends on if your wearing them until the last minute.
its always good to make lists & if your taking alot & flying you have to worry about wght. make sure there's no weapons left in a extra pocket. get ziplock bags for choneys & liquids.. make sure you have good ID tags |

I usually start packing about 3 hours after I was supposed to have left.
But then I’m sure my destinations aren’t as exciting as yours! ;o) |

About 15-30 minutes before I have to leave.
I used to start sooner but it didn't prevent me from forgetting stuff so wait til the last minute these days. 6 1/2 days ... Obsessive? maybe ... but so what...you're just excited. |

to get up and get out. anxious and need to get away. i was like that once. but i mised the plane. |

Oooo if that obsession then I need a whole sting of embarrassed faces.
I’m the check list kind of person. Have one for camping and pull it out a couple days ahead of time. Most supply type stuff is pack in the garage and ready to throw in the PU. I end up loading in the middle of the night so my brain really needs that kind of help. It’s the pits driving 200 miles out to the middle of nowhere and finding the sleeping bags didn’t make it. |
