Sociopaths are not charming and do not have a conscious, therefore, the term sociopath, and if they are charming at all it is for their own gain. Nothing charming about that. Um, they most certainly are charming. And if they are smart, you have no idea what they are until you're smitten. Or worse, married. Their lack of conscience has nothing to do with their charm. Are you familiar with the term? Or just as an adjective.... Antisocial Personality Disorder is also known as psychopathy or sociopathy. Individuals with this disorder have little regard for the feeling and welfare of others. As a clinical diagnosis it is usually limited to those over age 18. It can be diagnosed in younger people if the they commit isolated antisocial acts and do not show signs of another mental disorder. Antisocial Personality Disorder is chronic, beginning in adolescence and continuing throughout adulthood. There are ten general symptoms: not learning from experience no sense of responsibility inability to form meaningful relationships inability to control impulses lack of moral sense chronically antisocial behavior no change in behavior after punishment emotional immaturity lack of guilt self-centeredness And now......do you know what charming means...or just as an adjective Therapy... I work in forensic psychology, thanks. Donot take the exam now...you are not ready for it...you will fail What are you talking about?

Absolutely nothing wrong with me, but there is a psychological viewpoint that has a concept of, We know everything that happens to us is intentional. From "accidently" burning your hand, to tripping to being decieved. And that viewpoint is that even though it is unconscious we know what we are doing and do it intentionally to ourselves. That is ridiculous to assume that based on my comments that you know anything about me, much less assuming I am intentionally doing anything. I made a genealized statement, you immediately turned it into a personal 'about me' thing. I'm asking you to stop.

Therapy... I work in forensic psychology, thanks. that's awesome.. Im taking psych next semester.. just a simple psych101 requirement.. but Im looking forward to it.. Don't be disappointed it is mostly vocabulary. But you can take all the other interesting courses after that is knocked out of the park.

Abnormal Psych was a cool course as well as Psychology of Human Sexuality but I was never Psych Major. They all kinda scared me so I hung out with the jocks in college

Not assuming anything about or directing anything towards you. And if you think the basis and father of psychology are archaic that is your viewpoint not mine. If I remember correctly Psychology is not an exact science and the realibilty of it is subjective no matter how you look at it, google it, research it, or participate in classes. I think you are assuming I assume about you. I do not assume anything, it was viewpoint about anyone and still not directed towards you? Persecution complex anyone?
