Topic: Einstien was crazy! | |

I am sorry spidey, but I am christian and discerning behaviors you do not like, is quite different than brandishing your discerments to the public view. When pointing a finger in the the public, it is judging..... Judgment (disambiguation) A judgment is a balanced weighing up of evidence to form a decision or opinion. Judgment or judgement may also refer to: A legal judgment, a formal decision made by a court following a lawsuit. A value judgment, a determination of something's worth or goodness, based upon a particular set of values or point of view. But what you do is up to you, I see it a bit differently.....and because someone reads their lesson or interprets them differently from you does not make them athiest. JMO In Matthew 1, the word "Judge" means "condemn, avenge, damn, sentence, or levy a punishment". Since I have done none of those things to Einstein, I have rightly and justly judged his BEHAVIOR. I wouldn't have mentioned Einstein's treatment of his wife except to point out that Einstein isn't a terribly good judge of moral behavior. I'm glad to hear that you are a Christian, you should study and show yourself approved. Please think back to 1 Corinthians 5. Paul pointed out that one Christian man's behavior was so bad, that he should be cast out of the church. Was he "judging"? Yes, but not in the sense that he was condemning the man, he was pointing out the immoral conduct of a fellow Christian and putting him out of the church so that his behavior would not be an example for others to follow. |

And Paul was sanctioned by the lord tom put forth the word of the lord and his decisions, we aren't. Anyways, done with the verbal verbatim. Okay, that is just lame. So if you saw a man pick up a little kid off the street and you thought the guy might be a child predator...WAIT!!!!! You can't think he's a child predator, that's judging. Well, maybe you can think it, but you certainly couldn't tell the police, because that would be judging. But what's the difference between thinking it and telling others? Isn't the judgment made in the heart and mind? You seem to be making this distinction between thinking something and saying something. That's legalism and it was done away with by Jesus. If you feel lust in your heart, you have committed adultery. If you feel anger in your heart, you have committed murder. If you JUDGE in your heart, you have....? WHAT? What you are trying to be is a sweet and fluffy Christian who attacks other Christians for "judging!", but your position cannot be logically defended. So you claim that Paul had the right because God picked him, right? So if your church had a member who was having sex with his mother and bragging about it, you wouldn't want him removed? Would the church have the right to kick him out? Sorry, but you exegesis is completely wrong on this subject. |

No, not trying to debate anything with you, defend anything, or and no I wouldn't want him removed because he needs it more than the rest. I would trust in the church members to be tolerant and try to be there for the soul that needs it more than the rest. And that person could be an uncle retrieving a misbehaved child.....looks can be decieving and deserves more than a glance. Protecting a child is not judging, because the police judge and courts judge it, we just refer it to them judgment and report facts that you saw. No judging there. There choice of employment is upon them. |

That long haired, can't dress himself, reclusive from time to time had to have been crazy. Why else would he have wasted his TIME doing things that helped proved that TIME itself is a myth. Don't even ask me to prove this, as I will not waste my TIME doing so! Ive long suspected that Albert Einstein was bi-polar or suffered from some kind of manic depression. Its hard to know. They didnt have the understanding back then that we have now of mental illness. Highly intelligent people VERY often suffer from emotional problems or lack of fully developed coping mechanism. This is is not unusual at all. |

Let's see...Paul was authorized by God to make judgements, but him kicking the sinful brother out of church was wrong? Or are you more moral, because you would allow such a man to remain in church? Allowing him to remain would go against scripture and be tacit approval for his behavior. Doing as Paul suggested had a chance to causing him to realize how terrible his behavior was and come back to God. Allowing him to remain goes directly against what Jesus taught (confront your brothers and sisters with their sins). Sorry, but Christian or not, your exegesis of Christian doctrine is shallow and critically flawed. |

Here's my problem...if Paul was guided by God to kick the sinful brother out of the church, but yet you wouldn't do as he did...would your actions be right or wrong? If both courses are right, then why would Jesus teach the course that Paul took only? In a world of absolute good and evil, wouldn't only one course be "right" in any situation and all others be less "right" or outright wrong? |

I think the more intelligent you are, the more the world weighs on you. Benjamin Franklin had a great quote on this. I would have to look as it is at the tip of my tongue, but yes I agree with you. I realize that highly intelligent people seem to find depression easier as the knowledge can bring it that far. I guess Einstein chose to be crazy instead of depressed I think that is a great alternative if you know how to control your own crazyiness |

My actions would be based on forgiveness, understanding and hopefully leading through example instead of casting the first stone.....interpretations on how to base my life and move forth. I do not know if every interpretation put forth by our christian leaders is correct, but when we stand before St. Peter, I guess we will find out now wont we? Jesus also forgave prostitutes, killers, and stated that those w/o sin should cast the first stone did he not? Are you and I completely without sin? Have you not caught yourself looking at a female that belongs with another, just that glance of appreciation subconsciouly produced is sin too, isnt it? |

I think the more intelligent you are, the more the world weighs on you. I agree, of course, it always will, especially when you possess the mental fortitude to try and look at it from all angles before deciding the path you design. |

I am trying to be nice and end it nicely but he wont go away, but I will no longer respond. He was discussing, supposedly Einstiens religious aspects |

Sounds like he is cherry picking scriptures to suit his own agenda...Like he would have a clue about Einstiens relationship with God.
