i'm not sure if this will sound dumb but oh well...i think to help you out..you need to figure out what sort of body type you have and then try out different types of workouts...see what you respond best to...and keep everything varied...

Eat every three hours a small meal. Start at 6am and end at 9pm. From 9pm to 6am rest, sleep, do nothing.

During the day pump weights. Make sure you have a routine that works best. Work on a certain muscle such as arms first, then another day chest, another day the back, another day the legs, and so forth.

From there have protein shakes and amino acids to restore your muscles quickly.

Dumbbells are the best for gaining muscles fast

and remember "No Pain, No Gain"

Just like in everything in life one must work hard!

This is advice from Arnold Schwarznegger who use to train in a Fitness Center in Giessen, Germany.

This gym I use to go to myself, primarily because of the women therelaugh

Good luck on your health and may you find much success in building muscles.

Lots of sweat and hard exercise, there aren't any magic methods

The guy that mentioned varied workouts is on to something our bodies adapt pretty fast to regimens. If at the end of the day you cannot tell your target area has been worked hard, then you have not stressed it enough.

I can do the same work out every day and never feel tired, or sore. If I go to my buddy who is a personal trainer he can always find stuff I have not done often and I never go to bed at night NOT sore.

Being ripped takes more then just working out. Diet is important, you should be eating low, or no saturated fats. Your body is lazy if you give it lots of fat it will store it just as it is.

Aerobics! If you have a regular Aerobic exercise regimen then your body will realize it does not have the luxury of storing fat, it will store glucose, which is an energy source it can get back fast, fat is slow sugar is fast. I am not saying eat sugar. But if an energy source is not fat, then its sugar or carbs, and carbs get turned into sugar when the system realizes it cant put energy stores away, it must use then.

good diet and muscle confusion, give the muscle time to rebuild and grow between workouts.

My right arm stays the same, I curl beer daily and it never grows, should do it every other day and it would be huge laugh

I like that particular pic bushido, reminds me of my dad, one of his fav stories to tell was catching me and my twin doing that same thing, then running in the other room laughing and shaking our hands and then doing it again, he said that happened a couple times before he looked to see what we were up to.drinker

I want to konw the quickest way to get muscle in your abs and arms and chest? legs and inner thigh?

You are talking about two different things.

Muscle = mass

Tone = definition

Neither one will help unless you reduce your body fat. You should probably drink lots of water, eat a healthy diet and exercise using the muscle confusion method of working out.

I am not a professional, but from what I have learned over the years, you should probably add a little protein to your diet, and reduce the carbohydrates (don't stop eating fruits and veggies though).

To get a quick increase in muscle size, you should probably focus on a routine with "high weight, low repetitions".

If you do not want to join a gym (and many have advisors that can help show you a routine), doing a variety of different crunches, push ups and pull ups is a decent way to improve strength and definition.

Eat 20 pounds of chocolate per day, wash it down with beer and then roll over on the coach to take a long nap. Wake up a few hours later to only grab a bag of chips eat some heavy duty bean dip with it and turn on the tv to watch Baywatch rerunslaugh

You will develop much mass there for surelaugh

LoL thats great! One time when I was about 6-8 years old or so, I was watching cartoons and thought it was funny when Tom was electrocuted by Jerry, so one day I am walking out of the bathroom and I see the lamp in there without the bulb in it, I look and see the cord is unplugged so I think ok, it wont really shock me, so in goes the finger . . . it was a different cord NOT plugged in . . . ZAP!

I learned a valuable lesson that day!

I read a really interesting article about the future of atheletics in Popular Science recently...the one that really took me off guard was genetic manipulation that removed the natural inhibitors for muscle size...(Where the muscle gets only so big and then stops growing)

This is a picture of a Whippet that they performed the proceedure on...and whippets normally look like small greyhounds....

They reported up to 175% increase in muscle size with no drugs in the system to be detected...Pop Sci was predicting that it will be the way to cheat in the future.

getting toned...defined...the first step is losing the extra weight...cut out the fast digesting carbs...especially before a workout...take in at least 200 grams of protein a day...research amino acids...Glutamine...L-Arginine...and...L-Carnatine are a must to build muscle...the first two before you lift and the other after...at least thats how I do it...a shake before you workout and right after...do 20 minutes of crunches / sittups...then 1 hour of lifting...followed by at least 20 minutes of cardio...work different muscle groups...on different days...do this 5 days a week...and ...you'll see a change in a few months...check out MuscleFitness magazine...just make sure you load up on protein...lots of cottage cheese whenever you feel hungry at night...good luck...

You can actually purchase amino acids in a spray form and just spray them into broth or soup. I did that while I was into working out with weights. I got it in a health food store.
