Well, I would go back and find his post on his love spell, but I'm done with love spells. Mine always backfire.

Really? How so?

Well, okay....it's not spells that backfire, it's me. I will do one and I will start to attract different men. But, because of my own issues I quickly get caught up in a very unhealthy relationship.

So, before I do anymore love spells I have some work to do on myself. I also seem to be attracting the same kind of guy each time (emotionally unavailable....like my ex husband) which leads me to believe that it's me. And, at this point, I feel I may actually be better off alone as I have never met a guy who takes my spiritual beliefs and being a witch seriously. They treat me as though it's "cute" but not to be taken seriously.

It might be worthwhile to seek out someone who is also a Witch or at least open to a Pagan spirituality. If they arent practicing at least not condescending or hostile towards it. I guess its kind of like politics in a way, if you are a liberal and Obama supporter, more than likely you wont be able to sustain a relationship with an ultra right wing conservative Christian. There might be initial attraction for whatever reason but for the long haul, its not worth all of the arguing and controversy.

It's the condescending part that I get and can't stand. I'm just going to let it be for a while. Besides, dating intereferes with my studies. Thanks for the session, Dr. Krimsa. How much do I owe ya?

I dont know what Im talking about. I do know that people can be condescending about this spiritual path and thats just annoying. yet I tease the Christians to death (they have so much material) so in a way its karma for me.

But I can see how in an intimate face to face setting with a boyfriend that would be impossible to take. Its basically rejecting a large part of who you are as a person. Thats intolerable.

Exactly. It may annoy me from time to time when people are condescending or rude to me for my personal beliefs, but that's all it is. However, in my own personal relationship like you described above it is deeply painful. It is absolutely a rejection of your core person.

I do not need to be with someone who believes the same as me, but I do need to be with someone who respects my beliefs and considers me to be an intelligent enough human being to not be practicing "nonsense".

Oh and since I'm venting about this....A LOT of guys get turned on by the whole "witch" thing. They see it as some kind kinky, sexual thing. They are attracted to me because I'm a witch and nothing more. This is NOT flattering.

Oh yeah, it clearly goes both ways. Its partly because Witches are either portrayed as the the ugly crone at Halloween or the beautiful, yet sexy evil vixen. Thats just the two extremes that our culture seems only capable of recognizing them. Im sure a lot of men, like you say, are initially sexually attracted to a woman who says she is a Witch but then when they realize its actually a part of her spirituality and its not what they had pictured, not entirely anyway, then they lose interest.

I have experienced the same thing. When I was younger I used to go out on Halloween dressed as a witch to the local pubs collecting signatures for a contract with the devil.

You would be surprised how many I got! -

Anyway I had this real neat contract on parchment paper written in old world calligraphy. It was photocopied, so I had plenty of copies. It spoke of Shiva and other gods and the contract was for 500 cali yugas rather than eternity.

One young man was horrified and asked me why I was doing such a thing. He refused to sign, but after a few drinks he wanted my body in a bad way. LOL

Another man was fascinated with the contract and wanted a copy of it. I told him he could not have a copy unless he signed one. He signed it with a different name than his own. After he signed I told him that names are only temporary anyway and his signing was witnessed by the proper authorities and that no matter what name he signed, the contract was still valid. He did not like that at all.

People are so superstitious. I had a ball.

In return for their signature they had one wish. Some simply asked for "happiness." How silly is that? They don't realize that happiness is totally up to them. They would ask me "What if their wish is not granted?" I would tell them that if their wish is not granted the contract would be invalid.

I got well over 25 signatures for the dark side that night.




One person asked me why I did that, and I told them that these people who signed, had already sold their souls to the devil long ago, I was just making it official.
