Wow this thread has already done gone hit another 50! Woot! My pet parakeet Jimmy is on the keyboard. I know! I thought it would kind of die off after the creation of the new forums for religion. Hi jimmy! |

Jimmy is a cinnamon blue so hes kind of rare. I hand raised him. He kind of looks like this one. Hes put away now as I have 5 cats. Not safe for Jimmy!

Oh wow! He is really beautiful. I used to have a cockatiel named Fred. I taught him to whistle the tune from Andy Griffith.

I actually used to breed Indian Ringnecks. The breeding is a little more labor intensive though. I much prefer to have one baby, hand raise and then keep as a pet. |

The cockatiels are cute. Mine used to make "beeps" like the microwave. I had a backpack with a zipper and every time he saw me pick up the backpack he would "zip" They are really good mimics. Every bit as good as some of the larger parrots. African Grays are probably the best "talkers" though. I heard one in a pet store saying "I can talk, can you fly?"

Remember "Beretta"? I saw that as a kid and I loved his Cockatoo. That got me into birds.

My Goddess Song
I revamped my Goddess song. Same lyrics, but this time it's a bit more like a song than a chant. I added hand-drumming (bongos, played more like Congas), I also added guitar. And then tried to sing over all that crap. I realize this is a seriously amature performance, but I'm working on it. http://www.csonline.net/designer/abra/goddess.htm The link to the mp3 file is at the bottom of the page. I wish there were three of me so we could all play together. I had to play the drums first all by themsevles, then the guitar over that, and then finally sing over top of the whole mess. I need to find some musician friends. |

I thought you said you played live someplace on occasion? Maybe I misread that. It used to be on your profile before you got hitched.

I thought you said you played live someplace on occasion? Maybe I misread that. It used to be on your profile before you got hitched. That was a small café where people get together to play music. It's not like on stage or anything like that. I kind of fell away from that mainly because most of the people there played Celtic and Irish music almost exclusively, and after a while it starts sounded all the same to me. I've haven't been going over there lately mainly because of the weather and car problems. So what did you think of it? It's pretty bad I know. But think of it as a rough sketch. I'm only just learning how to hand drum so it's not real fluent. I can feel that isn't not fluent yet. It just doesn't have the continuity and flow that I'd like get. But I'm getting better all the time. |

I did not here you singing. This file seems to only have the background music.
