Actually Seamonster has a point, winx. I never actually wondered that before so that's interesting. Why would he create gays and hermaphordites? That's a very good question if god were around to answer that. Since Lyndyy seems to have God on her side maybe she knows...

Hey, Boo,

I'm the one that brought it up.flowerforyou

right,

Winx, im sorry my post realy jacked things up it looked like i acused you of something you did'nt say when in fact you were the first to say the thing about the hermaphodites.

That's okay. No problem.flowerforyou

My point is that if one believes in God, they know that God doesn't make mistakes.

English class.

Direct object - Names the receiver of the action of the verb.

Indirect object - Tells to whom or what or for whom or what an action is done.

Google and find out just what the US Supreme court is obligated to review....It only takes cases where it is felt that the lower courts erred in its findings......

It is the highest court in the USA and cannot be interpreting every single case that has entered any level of the judicial system......the case MUST have MERIT to be heard before the US Supreme court................

Thank-you for the lesson. While you were using your search engine did you happen to search for any cases regarding marriarge discrimination that have been submitted for Supreme Court Review? OR how about ANY case submitted in which Homosexuals are claiming discrimination of the law?

They are more difficult to find, but they are there and there has been refusal to call them up.

Also, this is not 'just any old case'. It is a case specifically appealing to constitutional law and while it is neglected millions are being discrimated against.

By the way, have you wondered what cases the Supreme court has decided to hear, INSTEAD?

How about the 20 year old Exxon Valdez incident in Alaska - not the major battle, but the disagreement on punitive damages.

I'm sure after 20 years this had greater ranking than determining the constitutionality of a case in which millions continue to be discriminated against because Federal law 'allows' it.

Of the 8 or so cases per year the SC reviews, how many do REALLY think are more important. How would you know, unless you knew the cases they CHOSE to review AND over which cases they took precident?

Leaning new things is great and I commend you; but what good is the knowledge if you don't use it to complete the research?

Stay the course and compare what you have learned with reality.

Live and let live.....it is nobody's job to judge!! If god doesn't like it then he can deal with it on judgement day! We as the "people" are not called upon to pass judgement for him! We all have a right to love whatever that may mean to us! JMO

On face value that seems to be a nice idea, but it still assumes that God will jude us as the evil that other assume us to be according to the bible, so why worry about juding those immoral people. So in a sense it's still insulting, but I guess you can't win either way.

'We all have a right to love whatever that may mean to us!'

I like that part, I'll just keep that part..

VAGUE? I posted MANY SCRIPTURE TO SUPPORT THE POSITION GOD HAS ON HOMOSEXUALITY......IT SO BLATANTLY CLEAR..................GOD HATES IT..............TO THE POINT WHERE HE DESTROYED SODOM AND GOMORRAH...........HOW MUCH CLEARER CAN THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY BE?

What does God hate? Does God grant YOU the power to exercise the right of judgment over those whom you ‘believe’ are not following the rules as YOU have decided to understand them?

What punishment would YOU as judge bestow on any who have sinned? On what basis would you determine the extent and magnitude of punishment for those who commit a particular sin?

Christianity.....ALWAYS getting attacked.

YES BOTH CHRISTIANS AND CHRISTIANITY ARE CONSTANTLY ATTACKED IN THIS FORUM.....JUST READ THE POSTS............

Those who attack are providing a reciprocal behavior. You have judged so they are returning the favor.

I have GOD on MY SIDE!

How can you be sure that God is on YOUR SIDE? What sins have you committed and what punishment have you had to bear for those sins?

I expect the answer to be something in connection with the sacrifice of Jesus. All you need do is repent and in Jesus name and sin dissolves. Your punishment is excused.

Yet, you feel it necessary to inflict punishment, in God’s place, on those you THINK have sinned. How often can you repent of the same sin (like judging others) before it is a “cry of wolf” to God’s ears?

I don't think hermaphrodites are sinning!!! They were born that way.

Now then, let’s consider the hermaphrodite. A child that is ‘judged’ to be – in error. Does God create errors? People must think so, because for many years people have had these children surgically altered – and who were they to determine what God had made should be corrected? And of those children who suffered the surgeon’s scalpel, those who redesigned to be one or the other sex – and then grew up to declare the error. The child who grew up as Andy likes guys, is he sinning? How do you know? What if he really was a he – a homosexual he? What if he wasn’t ? How do YOU know?

GOD DID NOT CREATE SIN.....MAN CREATED SIN.... Why is that so hard to comprehend?

The concept is not difficult to comprehend, what is difficult to comprehend is that some would judge the sin of others and ignore their own. What is difficult to comprehend is that the nature of sin cannot even be agreed upon by a group of people who claim to know what sin is. What is difficult to understand is how any human can look at the suffering of some and cry as they turn away to pray and upon looking up ADD to the suffering of others by their own will and then claim their actions to be justified.

If one does not want to believe in God...don't....if one does not want to follow God's instructions.....don't.....it is not my problem......

Almost made sense for moment and then:

Man created sin....God says homosexuality, immoral sex, immoral behavior is a sin.....if you do not like it take it up with God......it is HIS world HE created it....tell Him your complaints....

God says a lot of things are sin – but you seem to hold homosexuality above many other sins – why?

Has it ever occurred to you that by denying homosexuals the same exact treatment and benefit from all the laws of this land, that you may be held responsible to God later?

Consider this: By actively participating, even if only vocally, in the denying full equality to any person, you are denying them the opportunity to follow a path that might bring that person TO GOD? On the day you meet your God how surprised might you be to discover that your words, your actions, your vote against equality effectively stopped a person from the path that would save that person. Just how lenient do you think God will be on you? How lenient in comparison to the person whom YOU condemned, the sinner?

Your beliefs and your actions are in dissonance, they do not agree – yet another reason those who claim Christianity as their shield are so often ‘attacked’.
