I only break up with someone for serious reasons, like infidelity, lying, stealing, being a fake....things like that, so to answer you question, no I always remember why we broke up. They are ex's for a reason.

Not for me. The last time I talked to my ex, he had called to ask for money. LOL, no there's no forgetting why I left.

I did. Dated him for about a year and a half and then his son died in a car accident and he fell apart. His daughter started going to school at the college I worked at about 3 years later and she got us together again. We dated another year, but he is not the same guy as before. I will always love him and I miss the man he was, but it just won't work out between us.

And so here I am on Mingle looking for something that will work.

ha! i just went through this with my most recent ex. we even went out had a GREAT time (we were friends and hot for each other years before we dated so it was reminiscent...)....and while i remembered all the things about him that were harder to deal with... i saw all of the things that i loved about him and remembered more that i adored....but by the end of the night he was a typical male: all men are assholes sweetie, and if you forget...its ok! they will ALWAYS remind you! as my ex did for me at the end of the night.....

Yeah Ive had an ex show up out of the blue and he was sweet and charming and on his best behavior. He wanted to give it another go. Its easy to fall for that. Be strong, hold it together and realize that whatever happened in the relationship to make it sour in the first place is bound to just be under the surface, lying in wait. I dont recommend a reconciliation.
