and how do you know he was never in a part of the world were dog was a food source DUH if he even did it and why is it wrong because an american says so i think not that is why so many countries have contempt for the united states those kind of thought processes it is wrong cause americans do not do it i think not it is wrong everywhere or not wrong at all it is a double standard again I dont think anyone would be complaining if that marine was eating the dog. I would eat dog if i was REALLY hungry. Especially if i was in the middle of nowhere fighting a war. I would probably eat YOU if i had to. However, i wouldnt throw you off a cliff first. so why is blackwater still on u s payroll and still in iraq i never condoned the throwing of the dog i am condemning the double standard

I have no idea why, or even who Blackwater is. You need to get off your double standard soapbox. There is a lot of stuff not right with this world, but the fact of the matter is that chucking a dog off a cliff is wrong. Even if you are Korean it is wrong. I eat chicken, but i wouldnt kill one in a cruel way.

I don't believed it was photoshoped.Why would you need to photoshop a grenade with a puppy anyways.What is more interesting...a grenade blowing up or a puppy getting thrown through the air.Besides that they were in a moving vehicle and it didn't appear that they were in any type of conflict.So do I believe a Marine just tossed a grenade out the side of a moving truck for no reason at all?Or do I believe that he found a puppy got bored and threw it out?I believe the later.A court also found him guilty. I have worked side by side with Marines and Army soldiers repairing Strikers blown up by IED's.I heard alot of stories and it was not uncommon to hear them bragging about blood,guts,and gore.Many of them were avid hunters and would shoot at anything that moved.I am a big supporter of the Military and was once in it but there is alot of people with mental problems serving.I don't condone what this Marine did.It is not in line with the Marines code of ethnic.

you know if you people were smart you would see that the puppy was photoshoped into the video. in fact the original video showed that same marine throwing a grenade. but people always draw conclusions on what they see at first, and are blinded by their dislike for the military. take a closer look at the puppy in the video. and try to find the original video. I've seen the original video before the puppy one came out. I am very fond of the military and their must be a lot of dumbasses including some Marine commanders..

There are many factors to consider about the "minds" of our soldiers. Extended tours, redeployed again, reservists..ECT.. I dont like alot of what I have read but understand cracking under those conditions.We will be dealing with the aftermath for along time just as we did with all other wars..How does anyone know the mindset of that soldier?

Stoopid: Throwing a friggin puppy off a cliff Stoopider: Letting your dumbass friends film it FARK: Calling the offending Marine's house and threatening his family (and fyi Dan, Blackwater is a PMC: private military corporation also known as mercenaries. I turned down a few offers when I got out of the service.)

I saw it, it was foolish, and they were kids. No one said that there are no idiots in the military, but don't judge all the military people, based on this video. Not to mention as ChefBadger said, these were mercenaries, sometimes they think they can do whatever the hell they want to do. Personally, I would make them do 200 push ups ever day and the throw them on chow-hall detail for the rest of their life and make them low crawl across the desert until they can't move.
