Topic: How Obama Got Elected | |

not to be taken personal spider - but stay clear of assumptions, when we make those normally 2 people look bad. The reason Palin was more recognizable than her running mate is whose fault? how did she become so infamous, so memorable? I'm not making assumptions. It's a fact: Obama voters ON AVERAGE didn't know enough about any candidate to make an informed vote. In fact, they knew far less about Obama than they did his opponents. |

I voted for Obama simply because McCain is very old and if he wound up croaking while in office, we would've had that puppet as President. I voted for Obama because I liked his teeth. That too. He does have nice teeth. I also voted for him because he can play basketball. I saw a clip of him playing basketball. He's good. Now I know for sure that he'll be a good President. |

People who make under $80,000 are too stupid to understand taxes anyway. John McCain said that, to a room full of rich people. On August 8th. Of 2008. Fake quote. There is no corroboration for that quote anywhere on the net. There are lots of blogs and liberal websites talking about it, but no news reports of it. It would have been news if he had really said that. For those of you doubting that John McCain would say such a stupid thing, consider that he's on video, at a similar dinner, singing, "Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran..." Considering his personality this quote is highly believable. |

Same is said for McCain supporters spider. These facts you speak of are compiled from information gathered by whom? My guess a biased source, if wrong, I apologize. |

Nothing that is said against any Republican is ever true No, that's not true. But a fake quote is a form of libel. It is a felony to attribute a quote to someone who didn't say it. Now I'm sure you didn't do it intentionally, but how would you feel if someone attributed false quotes to you? Take a look around and see if you can find one reliable source that has published that quote. Haven't been able to find a reputable source that confirms or denys the quote, so I will assume it to be false for the reasons given earlier. However false quotes being attributed to Obama far outnumbered any being attributed to McCain during the campaign. That's how I was quite certain Obama was winning public opinion. |

Wasn't spontaneous or anything. He meant to say it. And it was probably worse than what David Shuster said about her. Disgusting..... |

Based on these abitrary stats? I could easily come up with a list of things that most conservatives don't know about mccain. It's far from a measure of who is and isn't more informed. |

I said nothing about McCain supporters. I'm not comparing McCain supporters to Obama supporters. What I have said is supported by the poll results. Maybe the McCain supporters know as little or even less than what the Obama supporters knew, but that's not the point. I haven't touched on that issue. |

Actually, it's in the poll at the start of the thread. |

I voted for him because he is Black and I'm not.

OP did include a link - must admit I didn't view - had a feeling things were going to be one sided (jmo) I stated that the source of these facts are/were/maybe biased and that comment was overlooked. |

The poll was by Zogby. Do you know who he is? He's a Democrat, Obama supporting Muslim. It's going to be hard to make a case that he's in the tank for Republicans. |
