whats with all these clique threads? are these like facebook groups? all i know was there was a thread that got closed down yesterday that dealt with cliques. is this a new mingle trend? what are we in, high school? is this a musical? stupid is right |

If I married a guy 20 years older than me.....then how long would I have to live the end of my life alone? Girls already outlive guys. A guy 20 years older when leave me living the last 25-35 years of my life alone. I also want children and a dad that can play with them. Not a dad that is old enough to be their grand dad. Older guys are pretty cool but when it comes to marriage and raising a family and living together for a long time....age matters, too me anyway. |

I appreciate the adjustment, but --jeeeeeeez -- I didn't even know I had a clique! If I did, I'm hoping it would be a VERY BIG and VERY INCLUSIVE one, where everybody was welcome and we would all talk to each other about how dumb it is to have an entire profile that just says "I don't know what to write here" and then spend months asking why all men are pigs and stuff. But in a friendly, non-porcine-bashing way! |

I also want children and a dad that can play with them. Not a dad that is old enough to be their grand dad. I always say everybody is entitled to their preferences and I believe that. Age, per se, matters little to me, but then I don't want kids and one marriage was more than enough for me! I do tend to wind up with younger girlfriends but I think that's just a function of statistical probability -- a 24-year-old is less likely to have a kid than a 34-year-old is. Older guys are pretty cool but when it comes to marriage and raising a family and living together for a long time....age matters, too me anyway. And that's the right way to deal with it, if those are your priorities. I hope you find that here! |
