Thats a very healthy and pragmatic way to look at it Abra. I will admit, my first reaction was no, I dont want to buy a pretty amulet only to throw it in the sea. But if I can reconcile it to being a gift of sorts, that changes it exponentially in my mind. I think painting the Venus figures on the rock would require more of yourself and it would take much longer and perhaps the Goddess would appreciate it more in that sense then just purchasing an amulet online with your own money that you might have used for groceries instead.

And yes poop can be sacred for plants. I breed rabbits and I literally can not bag up enough of this stuff. People from all over town want it for their plants and gardens. Evidently rabbit droppings are the absolute best rose fertilizer going. It can go directly on the bushes because the acidity level is already perfect. Something like that. The roses seem to love it. There is an older lady who has won the rose competition at the fair here and she swears its the rabbit fertilizer that does it.

I think this is very true and goes back to the Buddhist and Catholic teachings of detachment. The more detached you are the more you can do. Very hard to achieve true detachment.

detachment is only as hard as person allows their programming to tell them it is, what if the illusion of attachment was too strong ...well then the monkey in the cage would die once this psychic umbilical cord was cut

I disagree. the ego is a strong force. It may be easier for some people more than others depending on how much work you did on it in previous lives.

I'm so tired today. I was up all day since 3:00 a.m. when that fire started. I have been working on putting some of the pictures on my website that I took of the fire.

I sent some pictures to the news station in Pueblo and they put them on television. They gave me credit for sending the pictures. My five seconds of fame. LOL

I took more but am not going to put them all up. They confirmed that three people died in the fire. My whole block was roped off. My house and lawn were hosed down so as not to catch fire. There were lots of hot cinders flying for blocks.

Wow. Those are some intense photos. Fire is really scary up close like that. I'm glad you are okay. May the deceased rest in peace.
