Religion shouldn't even be an issue..The people of this country worship all kinds of religions..The constitution supports that.. What makes your religion right? God gave us Free will and we will by judged individually and not as group..By the way that's just my beliefs..Whats yours? This might surprise you. I'm for civil unions.  I too am for civil unions. But whats gives me the right to say how people live! I have a problem with religion dictating what is right for people. God doesn't want religion pushed on you, he wants YOU to accept him without conditions. Thats my beliefs!!  Amen brother!! Yeah, think this whole issue could be solved if the government just supported civil unions. Gay marriage is between the church and it's followers. The state should not make them alter the religion. But at the same time, if they choose to support gay marriage, then that is good for them (it's their religious right). If you are a homosexual, and your current religion denounces those acts, you can choose a different way to worship god, or a church that supports it... |

Yes well it looks like all those minorities who voted for OBAMA are also moral conservatives.  Can you please refrain from this bigotry in every thread? Thanks. I asked for her opinion ! I don't know if this has been asked, but if gay couples can't marry or adopt, why should they be required to pay taxes to schools and other child-related causes that don't benefit them at all?

Everyone has to pay taxes to support schools, it is socialism to a degree. But straight couples and single people have the same problem, so it's not an undue burden on homosexual couples. LGBT adoption is legal in 22 state, btw. |

True, I understand that where it is legal, but in places where it is not legal to adopt, marry or anything of the sort, why should they need to pay for other peoples children? Straight couples or single people don't have a legal reason why they can't have children, whereas with LGBT couples, they are prevented from it. |

What gives you the right to do or say "anything should be a certain way", is your rights as a citizen of a democratic republic. Here we the people as a "majority" say what we want to be or not be. If at some point it changes and the "minority" has the right to decide whats best for the "majority", then you'll have no arguement from me. |
