I'm actually surprised by the amount of blatant homophobia displayed from some people on here.

I'm not afraid of gays...

You do discriminate against them. That's homophobia.

I discriminate against the behavior...this is a recording.....

Discriminating against homosexuality is homophobia.

: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals

your response should read...discriminating against homosexual " sex " seems somewhat homophobic...

Seeing as homosexuality is the behavior you're admitting to discriminating against, I'm not sure what you're arguing about. You admitted to it.

here...lets try this...you have your beliefs and convictions and I have mine...I'm more then likely in the majority...that being said...I just can't change my mind...call me what you like...but...I just can't change how I was brought up...can I ask you something ?...I'll wait for your response...gulp !!

You can have your beliefs. No one is saying you can't. But, you can't say that you discriminate against their behavior, then try to say you're not homophobic.

It has nothing to do with homophobia. It has everything to do with common sense. We were all born with our specific genders for a reason. The key and the lock each have a purpose, and one will not work without the other.

On an unrelated note, I find it ironic that you mentioned "sex" and "go down" in the same sentence.

#2 Are you straight ?
#3 Will you marry me ?

take your time...I don't need an answer today...lol...actually my original question was going to be number two...

Technically, though not religious at all.
Yep.

Did you assume I was a lesbian because I support gay rights? Do you even know anyone who is gay? I bet you do and don't even realize.

I guess you don't know many people who support gay rights. I have many, many friends who are gay. I'd love to see them have the same rights as everyone else. And, it disgusts me that even now, when it's almost 2009, people are still so homophobic. I find that to be pretty crazy.

I think what happened in California, Flordia, and ?...help me with the last state...was it Utah...anyway...I think most people voted the way they did...because they're looking at it in a sexual way...and they don't approve...in time...this country will eventually soften it's ways...change takes time...

I'm curious to how you think you're not being homophobic. Truely it's fascinating.
But I'm always even more curious because I can't understand why someone might be afraid of a homosexual person.

I have a story about a close friend from when we were in highschool. We'll call her "L"

L new she liked girls from a young age. I met her in highschool on the first day, first class. It was gym. Now coming from a smaller city many of us had gone to school with one another for many years. So some of the girls already knew about L's sexual orientation. But, any news is not good news in high school.
L was very shy about it and didn't really tell people fearing that they'd stop being her friends. Fearing that they were homophobic. I bet you can't even begin to imagine what's that like.
The girls in the gym class harrassed L badly. Screaming out that she was watching them change. Being a middle party I could plainly see that L changed in a corner- with her back to the room. Never looking at anyone in fear they might freak out and think she was attracted to them.

Wow, you can't even look around a room of people because you might be attracted to someone and they'll tease you and make you feel like dirt. L never liked any of those girls...as I'm sure you can imagine why. They were horribly confused as to what it means to be a lesbian.

Just because you like a person of the same sex doesn't mean you like everyone of the same sex. Homophobia is LAME. Anyone who is needs a reality check! Think of it this way, you can't be the most perfect human being on this planet. So not everyone is going to like you and therefore the world does not revolve around you. And not all homosexuals are going to want to touch you or sleep with you.

that's an easy one to answer...I don't fear homosexuals...I just think that lifestyle is wrong...so...that being said.. why would I want to see gay marriage legalized...if I think that behavior is wrong...my focus is on the behavior...whatever they want to do...I don't care...I just don't want to see it legal...and neither did the majority in Cal and Fl
