Just out of curiosity. Did he initially contact you and just say this out of the blue so it was more "troll like" in nature or were you two getting to know one another and then all of a sudden he decided you were too heavy for his taste?

Well I have read this thread more then once and this is by far not the first time something like this has been said to someone on this site. I have seen it and heard it from day one since I have been here. At first I jumped right in and voiced my opinion to the person or persons that choice to be so shallow minded and seen that they must put down one for their weight, looks ect. I choose to call myself a full figured woman for my own reasons.

For sure the person I'm within has nothing to do with the weight I have gained over the years. I was taught many years ago to treat others the way you would like to be treated. Sure it took me a few years down the road to figure out what my grandmother meant but through the years it did sink in.

I have been amazed at some of the women/men of what they have said within these threads about others that happen to be over weight.

I assure you all that when a person is over weight the last thing they need to hear is someone putting them down. You see they are very aware of their weight and I promise you they either have learned to deal with it or realize they do need to take matters within there own hands. But to criticize them maybe one thinks they are helping the matter but believe me all that is doing is added more stress to that person.

Each person needs to learn to live their lives and leave the next person to live theirs as they see fit. If weight is and issue as far as dating them then hey keep it to your self and move on. No one has tied your hands behind your back or shackled your legs were you can't walk away. It seems is that they never learned what respect was and what it meant when others say if you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all.

Some people have different reasons for their size from hereditary, thyroids, meds ect.... some say it is because they need to back away from the table or exercise. Regardless what the problem for each is it is theirs to deal with.

What amazes me though is so many do judge on a person’s size it has been proven so many times.

I have learned that being a size 5 and then staying at a size 7 for many years before I started gaining weight. People treat you totally different all except your real friends.

So I've learned if they can not accept me the way I'm then I don't associate with those people at all they are close minded and shallow people. I've learned there is far more to life then waste my time with ones that think they have the right to put someone else down instead of looking within there selves.

I do understand we all have a preference on what we perceive and the type of person we want to be with whether it be their size, how they carry themselves or deal with issues in life. We have that right to seek the one that fits into our lives and that they appeal to us.

What they don't have the right to do is to belittle others on the way. It's a shame that some never graduated from being so closed minded to another’s feelings.

Okay now I will get down off my soap box shshs yeah I know I'm long winded but hey that is just another part of me.
