The firefighters, police officers, union workers and teachers are voting for Obama. That is the middle class.

um i also beg to differ im a union worker and i wont be voting for Obama and i know plenty more that wont also. please dont generalize us poor middle class uncared for want to keep what we work herd to get workers

Have you ever heard of a Republican having a speech at a union hall? Also, I don't know any union workers that make over $250,000 a year.

fock da silly speeches!!!!!!!

have ya ever heard of a conservative republican that did give a psht about the poor??????? or do the democrats got teat one covered. let them spend more money on the homeless winx...and less money on national security..on OUR soldiers..

who at this point
our militrary ROCKS!!
about the ONLY thing holding america together right now

There are plenty of ex-soldiers that are homeless and addicted with mental problems. The money that we spend on national security is more than most countries make in a year.

if they are homeless its because they choose to be and dont want to get help
there are many programs for them all they have to do is want it

That is very true!

The VA has excellent programs set up for disabled vets that want to better themselves. Reality is though, most of them don't.

problem is that the VA centers are always three or four hours from where you live and you have to get appointments like a year in advance

I think i may have lucked out. The va hospital i attend is only an hour away (which still sucks), but i've made appointments a couple hours in advance. They are quick to get you through x-rays, immunizations, bloodwork etc. Hell i had all the above done in an hour and a half, and the appointment was made 2 hours in advance....

The staff down at the VA ROCKS...

We have 2 VA hospitals and my ex had 17 yrs. in the service and had to wait 8 mths. to see the orthopedic doctor.
They don't have enough staff and too many need help.

If Obama keeps his word he will tax everyone. Middle class, lower class, upper/middle class, etc.

Inflation tax. With his plan to increase our problem of overspending he is increasing our money problems. But not to worry folks, cuz he promises to put in government programs to help the people his policies hurt...whoa

I'm sorry, he is not for the middle class. Catwoman is right. He wouldn't be where he is unless he had the corporate best interests at heart.

You don't become a candidate these days unless you are bought and payed for...

And you think McCain is for the middle class?

Go to a NA or AA meeting. Ask how many of them are vets.

Oh come on, you know me better than that Winxflowerforyou What's true for one party is true for the other. McCain and Obama are pretty close in overal political philosophies.

McCain has been bought and paid for for years now... That's how he got to where he is...

The DNC and RNC have been sellouts for years...

If they werent, the republican nomination would have went to Ron Paul and the democratic nomination would have went to Dennis Kucinich.

when you think Democrat you think Teachers Unions, lawyers, and environmentalist

when you think Republican you think oil companies, big tobacco, and Wall Street

they are both pretty much bought and sold by their respective special interest groups

2/3's of both parties are anyways. Although it did surprise me that the house republicans voted down the first bailout deal...

They might have been trying to save face though. Our representative went against the wishes of the people when he voted yes the second time, almost everyone was pissed.

He was also up for re-election..

In St. Louis, my ex must go through the ER before seeing his primary care physician. If he sets up an appt. tomorrow for a physical, he can't get an appt. for at least 2 mths. And it only takes him 10 min. to get to the VA.

And there you have it.
When I go to vote, I'm gonna wear my T-shirt that plays on the "Coulda had a V-8" advertisement, COULDA HAD RON PAUL.

Conservatives that have been supporting McCain, even though he often finds himself at odds with Conservatism, should punch themselves in the face collectively, figuratively speaking of course, after the Global Elite use their corrupted voting machines to put their next puppet in the Oval office.

Then when they find themselves on the business end of Bush's Police state, which will be controlled by a Obama Admin, those so called conservatives can only blame themselves.

Fast food is poison, period, Morgan Spurlock proved that in his documentary, SuperSize me. I'm sure that it's just a coincendence and has nothing to do with the Eugenics programs being run against humanity.

You know what i find interesting... Gun control happens to be a serious debate in our government. But making fast food illegal has not. Poor diet and lack of exercise kills between 100,000 and 400,000 people a year according to my sociology book. Where as guns kill about 18,000 or so...

Who here thinks that an elite few in the world are slowly imprisoning us and destroying our country?

New World Order refers to a conspiracy in which a powerful and secretive group is plotting to eventually rule the world via an autonomous world government, which would replace sovereign states and other checks and balances in world power struggles. In this theory, many significant occurrences are said to be caused by a powerful secret group or groups. Historical and current events are seen as steps in an on-going plot to rule the world primarily through a combination of political finance, social engineering, mind control, and fear-based.

Dude this has been the way of the earth for centuries. You just notice. Perhaps it was because the adopted or stole someone elses catch phrase 'new world order' that caused you to become aware.

earth goverenments have been manipulated for a long time. Perhaps as long as we have had governments?
