Do you have trouble sharing in someone's joy when they are blessed? Or maybe feel a pang of jealousy?



Like they get engaged (maybe you want to have a true love or just had a painful breakup?)

Or get pregnant (maybe you want to be too and are having trouble getting that going?)






Maybe they buy a new house, or get promoted ..

or ..... get a new car?









Why do some people make it seem like you are a snob because you are excited about something even if that 'thing' carries a status of sorts?




And 'new' can mean 'new' to them .. not really off the showroom floor new. But what if it did?

So what .. it's still something they might have worked hard for - why not share in their happiness for the moment.





ie ..don't be hatin on others for accomplishing something that makes them smile

i just found out that my first boyfriend got engaged.. he and i were engaged for 2 years..

he is buying her the car she wants.. special order from the dealer.. they are designing her ring together..

I agree Fade. I love seeing the excitement in someone's face when they share their good fortune. It's almost as if you are a part of it. Even for people that say it on here. You may not be able to see their face, or hear their voice, but you can tell by their words how excited they are. Just to know, that something special has happened to them in their life, that has made them so happy, makes me just as happy for them. I just don't understand how a person could not share in that happiness. It doesn't make sense to me.

some people are just too self-absorbed to be aware of anyone else or to feel any happiness for anyone else...

I think sometimes they enjoy being a victim of their own doing...

When I get to share in others happiness it makes me feel honored that they would be willing to share their good things with me!!

I actually had to be on welfare when I was raising my first child alone. You know, the one I didn't abort when I was pregnant at 16.

I also don't drive NEW beamers .. it is a 2003 that I got for 8,000 under the KBB retail price. Oh ya, and I had my share of POS cars .. heck I had one where the passenger seat would fall back and the rider was in the lap of the person behind them. I had horrible cars most of my adult years.

And who the hell ever said I wear Prada? oh .. I'm sorry. Just because the Devil wears Prada happens to be one of my fav movies and I DO appreciate fine fashion .. My myspace page has a DWP background. No one ever said I could afford it.

Wow. Just friggin wow. I have raised 5 children, most of the time with the help of friends and family. I have struggled plenty.

I'm not a snob. Just because God reached down and blessed me, just cause He tapped me on the shoulder and said "This one's for you" does NOT a snob make me.

actually I got this car for special financing for special reasons that is absolutely NO ONE'S business.

Just because I appreciate nice things and find great deals .. does not make me arrogant. I am thankful for everything I have.
