Some guys do that but if you exchanged numbers why don't you call him? i don't give my number out- unless i get theirs. YA YOU DO Then there are folks who don't even ask for your number... oK WHATS YOURE PHONE NUMBER

Some guys just get the number to see if they can. Dont take it personal. Why do dogs chase cats? Just to see if they can catch them. Its a game we all play, its the same reason girls wear low cut shirts but hate when the "wrong guy" is attracted to it. Purely ego driven!!

I have a question, I have been chatting by phone, im, and email with a guy from another site for about a month. We met in person last week, two nights in a row. Nothing happened except we talked alot. Those nights he still called me when I got home and we talked for another 2 hours. Then he had to work a double the next day, and last night he went to a football playoff game after work. I understand not having a long conversation either of those nights. I worked all day today, he was off and I still haven't heard from him. Does it mean anything or are my insecurities showing?

My ex girlfriend once told me, "Please don't call me when you've been drinking" a couple of months later she asked me why I never call women!! I know, man. My ex complained when I stood on the porch and pee'd on the lawn. Then she complained when I stood on the lawn and pee'd on the porch. You jus' cain't please 'em.

I really hope so. Love the feeling of a new relationship. You know the hope that this time it is for real. The smile that comes to your face when you hear his/her voice, the butterflies when you know you are going to see him/her. The soft touches that set your heart racing. I just got that and am not ready to give it up yet.

#1 The obvious converse question to why guys don't call is: "why do women give their phone numbers to guys who are obvious flakes (players)and snub their noses at the average joe that would hold her number like a trophy and call her back?" #2 Women are "empowered,liberated and equal" now for well over 30 years... Why don't they make the calls?

Most guys would forget their own pants in the morning if it wasn't so cold, let alone a small scrap of paper with a number on it (that gets washed because you forgot to check your pockets....) I figure if a girl gives me her number, that's an open invitation and the hard part is over. I will call.....if I can read the number after it's been washed......

No excuses...just reasons. Besides....Im just giving insight as to why the OTHER GUY didn't call. I don't think I have a problem with that. In fact...I'm glad there are guys out there that don't call. It makes me look extra good when I do :)

1. They are busy 2. They lost your number 3. They forgot 4. There is other women they are checking out 5. They lied 6. Alzheimers 7. They are scared 8. They dont know what to say 9. They didnt pay the phone bill 10. Is your phone broke, call him You just blessed ten kazillion guys with better excuses than they already had. You're a gem, lady! I know I'm writing them down. Check them against the excuses I get when she doesn't call me.

Asking for a phone number is sometimes just a good way of ending a conversation. Having said that, I always call within 48 hours and I never ask for a number if I'm not going to call her. There have been times when a woman insisted I take her number and I didn't call her though.
