What a soul mate is when not one person on this site has ever had that?

It's somthing i see on all sites and a hell of alot of people seem to think they know what one is, but yet they have not actually ever met there so call soul mate. And yet there will express what one is.

is it that you know because of what everyone else has said or do you have friends that you think are a couple that are what seems to be soul mates?

Ok, we all know that alot of people mean there partner to be and thats what i'm talking about. anthing else is not the conection that being on the net what your looking for. "Not" saying everyone is looking for that, but the ones that are and seem to know or have had one. It's just kinda funny to me knowing there on a dating site looking.

A soul mate comes in many different forms..not all are a romantic interest..a soul mate is just someone that you've shared many life times with

So how do you know this?

I have had relationships with women where I felt a deep connection....perhaps on a spiritual level or where our basic natures meshed so well we felt as 'one'....that doesn't mean we were perfect for each other, but we did share thoughts, feelings, experiences that were profoundly intimate....

there were times we would text each other at the exact same time or see things in the same way....or anticipate thoughts....

I can because I have already meet my soulmate unfortunately the universe and god needed him more than I did. Life goes on. I do know that I will never meet another but that is ok too.

The phrase "I feel like I've known you forever" is not just a pick up line..often times it's true..You meet some one and with out a doubt you KNOW that you've known them before..not always as a lover but you can just feel it..cuz you have.

I ws wondering if somone was going to share something like this. But 95% of the people that seem to know what a soul mate is has not had that loss as you did and i'm sorry for your loss.

I understand what your saying but i'm talking about you other half, the one your to be with the rest of your life.

Not everyone gets a romantic soul mate.

in life we have many soul mates sometimes litterally hundreds........ some are short lived some are there throughout your!! existance. they are teachers. people that bring you knowledge or love or could be there to direct you in some mannor of your lifes path...any indian knows these things... so how does anyone know this?? your! I guess I have to agree in part with this...there ARE people that you have a connection with that defies explanation. I have 1 I am absolutely sure about and a few others that always make me suspect. How do I KNOW this??? I just listen to my soul...

i think the term 'soulmate' is something that Hallmark created so as to boost sales.

BTW - that isn't a romantic relationship...met as a jr high student, never dated, have fallen out of touch over the years and always feel DRIVEN to get back in touch when we aren't. See each other once every 5 yrs or so for a meal or a "passing through" and it's like we know each other better than ourselves.

There are a few people online that I know are my soulmates..One girl we have been calling each other "sisters" from the first second we met cuz we know that SOMEWHERE along the way we were blood related sisters..her kids even call me auntie and it was automatic with them as well..no one TOLD them to call me that.

Humm do I know someone that has found theirs yeah I do. My step-sister and her husband are High School sweet hearts. They are together 24/7 except when they are at work. Their love for each other is something most don't see. They have been married about 37 years. They have a love I have never seen before but would love to find it.

But in reality I would be satisfied with one that loves me as much as I love them that would be close enough to a soul mate for me.

I don't believe in soulmates and I'm not looking for one.

not sure why you would generalize just because you've not met yours.

soul mate to me is not a divinity, it's another person who touches your soul, strengthens your soul, makes you aware of your soul

You don't have to look..if you have one..and you do..they will find you..lol
