What you are saying may be true, but I think your response is inaccurate - he was giving his opinion from a guy's perspective. Without knowing all the options available, and the phase being ambiguous enough to start a provocative thread, I don't believe it's an unreasonable response.

Your explanation clarified it for me, but before I got that clarification - I kinda thought the same thing, so I'd skip over those profiles that had activity partner.

I agree. I thinks guys would have a different perspective if women believed more in equality. Imagine if gangs of women harassed guys for sex all the time.

Personally I would simply ask what a person had in mind but I think first we wanna see if we are going to be a good fit helps before engaging. Lol

People that have been together for any length of time will possibly have activities that had been exclusive to only them. I like to cruise, but I would go alone after a relationship didn't work, some are not comfortable going alone. No one has to be in the same room to cruise. A love of running that linked a couple, and one does not feel safe in running alone. People tend to link through common interests on some level, when someone dies, or a relationship is over, they still have those interests but might not want to just put them on hold because they are now alone. How I took it anyway.
