Maybe instead of holding on to your own prejudices you should actually read the proposals of the candidates.

Christ on crackers...isn't anyone paying any attention?

I'll check for your answer in the morning. Four worksites, three workers (temporarily til Obama gets to have em)and 5:00 am will roll around too quickly. Thanks winx, have a great night. flowerforyou

I'm confused. What answer?

Why do you think Obama's going to have them?

I asked you the same question twice.flowerforyou Here is the third time: Going back to your comment that McCain's personal life affects how you see his character in a negative way, how did you view Clinton's character with his marital infidelities?
Pertaining to my comment concerning employees, I was being facetious in a way. What I should say is that his economic policies will add great numbers of people to the unemployment lines, kill many small businesses, and increase the size of government. Anyone who thinks they will not have their taxes raised with either candidate is delusional as history shows.slaphead It is a question of who will raise your taxes more. At this stage of the game they are both just flapping their jaws and people hear from the chatter what they want to hear. Without going into each of their issues here, I will simply say that applying common sense alone should raise doubts as to whether they are being truthful. Example: Obama states that he will not raise taxes on the middle class. Seeing our HUGE deficit coupled with his desire to increase the size of government. Where do you think that money will come from? whoa
Don't forget about the Clinton question.

Clintons moral discretion occured after he was elected and we couldnt use it as a moral gage of his charector at an election. I think if the information of this was available it would have cost him alot of votes. We at least have the advantage to know about Mccain prior to putting him in office. I suppose it doesnt matter now since we wont have to worry about it.Looks like Obama has it in the bag. What actualy worries me more than Mccains indescretions is the medias ability to build this guy into some type of hero when it is well documented he was a poor pilot in the Navy and a collaborator when a POW. What did we do to deserve such poor charector in our supposed leaders?

McCain underwent a hell that most people will never experience. The torture was so bad that it left him permanently disabled. Once he was freed, he went overboard. He admits that. His ex wife has forgiven him and plans to vote for him. She understands how he spent months expecting to die at any moment and she understands how that changed him. It's truly despicable that Democrats are attacking the families of McCain and Palin. It's hypocritical that they are so upset that McCain got a divorce when their family values candidate (Clinton...remember his wife and daughter went EVERYWHERE with him) is given a free pass for committing adultery while on the clock and in the oval orifice.

I'm don't care if he got a divorce. I care that he had a gf while he was married.

It's not a Dem. or Repub. issue. It's a moral issue.

GOOGLE songbird Mccain and see a long list of Vets who claim he collaborated with the enemy. Vietnam was a tragady for many who faught in the jungles I would think Mccain the son of an admiral had it far better than the average kid drafted out of highschool to fight that BS war.

When I think of Mccain that old Creadance Clearwater Revival song comes to mind

John Fogerty)
Some folks are born
made to wave the flag,
Ooh, they're red, whit and blue.
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief",
they point the cannon right at you.
It ain't me,
it ain't me.
I ain't no senator's son.
It ain't me,
it ain't me.
I ain't no fortunate one.
Some folks are born
silver spoon in hand,
Lord don't they help themselves.
But when the tax man comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale.
It ain't me,
it ain't me.
I ain't no millionaire's son.
It ain't me,
it ain't me.
I ain't no fortunate one.
Some folks inherit
star spangled eyes,
Ooh, they send you down to war.
And when you ask them,
"How much should we give?"
They only answer "More! More! More!"
It ain't me,
it ain't me.
I ain't no military son.
It ain't me,
it ain't me.
I ain't no fortunate one.
It ain't me,
it ain't me.
I ain't no Fortunate Son.

I'm not sure where you were but he didn't get a free pass. He did go through the impeachment process. And, I have a friend who worked in the White House and was close to the situation and I understand that Hilary threw a stiletto at his head and he spent many nights sleeping elsewhere. His wife chose to forgive him, but that doesn't mean he got a free pass.

Thanks for your response winx. flowerforyou I agree. My personal opinion is that we need our elected leaders to be held to a higher standard, no matter what their party affiliation.
I am aware of "Joe the plumber" but I am Steve the carpenter. Obama will raise my taxes and I will be forced to raise my rates to make up for the loss. We all will.Higher prices in a poor economy means less work for small businesses. Less workers needed, etc., etc., etc. How does that help the economy? Raising taxes NEVER has stimulated the economy. That causes a cash flow crisis and at this time is a very dangerous thing to have happen.
