Being saved is something inward and personal. Only God and the individual truly know if they’re saved. Pronouncing salivation is as simple as saying im god however it doesn’t make it true. In truth all humans are sinners we were born into sin and will die in sin. Being saved doesn’t make you sinless it just allows for the ultimate forgiveness. Everyone falls short of perfection no matter how well they might live their life.

so youre one of those that think babies freshly born are born of sin? pffft. god never said sex was a sin. only that pregnancy and labor pain were eve's punishment.

All children are born into sin. Sin is a generational curse and can be passed up to the 10th generation. We all are accounted for the fall of man from our greatest ancestor Adam and Eve. However there is a certain time where children are not accountable for there sins. Jesus said to enter into the kingdom of heaven you have to be like children. There is most definitely a symbol of purity and innocents in children but there is no true human innocents. So no I don’t believe babies go to hell.

All children are born into sin.

What absolute rubbish. You're telling me that a child inherits the sins of the parent(s)? Seem like a pretty poor deal for the unborn, can't see how can be sinners before they are born.

Sure they’re passed down. There are generational curses and generational blessings. It doesn’t mean the generational curses can’t be broken. For Example a pregnant woman who becomes a junkie receives aids through her drug use. Her unborn child also gets the disease through sharing the blood with its mother. Is it fair for the child that he or she is punished for her mother’s actions? No but it doesn’t make it any less real.

i know it is, but i dont see why people should waste any of the time they have here on earth? what proof is there of an afterlife? faith alone wont make it happen.

But remember also that generational curses can be broken.....Mine was alcohol goes back to the beginning of my family.....but it was broken with me....and just to give you an idea in my immeidate family....lost mother to it, sister at 18 to it.....brother in prison because of it and father found bled to death after falling when he was drunk...

And the Lord shelters me...and keeps me....and all I have to give him is me.....

like i was driving down a road in iraq arm out the window smoke in hand and my truck blew up. i should definitely have lost my hand, and numerous times i should have been shot but wasnt, so if theres something out there, it kept me alive, but why wouldnt it let me know?

why dont angels sing and god saves us all from ourselves? were all just a bunch of sinners. all of us. theres is no heaven and no devil, theyre just avatars of our emotions.

The greatest trick the devil ever played was making the world believe he didn’t exist.

A pretty ironic assertion for someone with the handle "Deus Ex Machina". :)

I rather suspect that Satan is the joker in the deck on days when the religious aren't feeling too Golden Rule-ish and need another agency to pay the tariff for their self-generated Exceptions To the Rule.

If you actively search for answers and still aren't convinced that a god could exist, it can't really be held against you due to the fact that the a lot of the information in the bible is irrational/illogical. One can't be blamed if they don't wish to practice blind faith. After all, "God" gave us minds to think with.

Thats a good point. happy

if you call it a curse then you are say god created you with that curse. A weak family memeber may throw up their hand and say oh well I am cursed. I do believe we each have challenges given us from generations previous but not curses.

Feral I need to chime in here. That is crazy talk. People are not cursed. Alcoholism is a disease. We understand this to be fact now. Do you also believe epilepsy is caused by devils? Dont be ridiculous.
