 You FORGOT about another human being!
How important could she possibly  be to you if you FORGOT about her completely?
People forget about other people everyday Hearts get broken everyday too We make mistakes , it is HUMAN Are you kidding? "people forget about other people everyday?" ...since when? I'm not sure how it works for you BUT people of genuine "importance" are NEVER forgotten. Since people get caught up in Life It does happen Don't tell me it never happened to you? It has happened to me Sorry if my Life is not as perfect as yours Shoot me for being human 
Sorry! That hasn't ever happened to me and I haven't ever done that to anyone. ...Probably because I don't decide to meet random people. I wait for “it” to mean something to me. The way I live my life has nothing to do with the way you live yours. If forgetting people is COMMON for you...then...that’s simply your issue. It doesn't make it right to project certain inconsiderate acts as a generalization or an "accepting" act on to the rest of society. This one guy once told me "We all go through a whore phase"... 
...um, NO! Maybe that was the way he chose to live his life but I will certainly NOT follow suit just because he thinks he could sweep a comment like that under the rug and try to justify stupidity. I can honestly say, I have never heard it to be "common" to forget about another person. I am not someone that feels "all should revolve around me"...Sad that people don't just see it as inconsiderate. ...thank you all for pointing it out to me. Consider me well informed.

chatted with a lovely gal, and things went very well. i have bin very stressed of late, and had bin drinkin, not that i do this eveyday. we had sorta mentioned meetin at a local pub, but job called for longer shift. i forgot to call her , even then i didnt have her cell number with me.when i got home ,this is when i realized that i had forgot when i checked messages.!!!!! i know i will take alotta heat from the gals on here but man i feel so ****ty, but she is gonna let it slide and gimme a chance to make it up. i guess what im tryin to say is would you gals gimme another shot or shoot me.!!!

Well, my thoughts on this is that if you have just met the person and talked once or twice and maybe casualy mentioned you two should meet for lunch or something, and you forgot because you got caught up in work or something. Than Its understandable that you COULD forget. You shouldnt have, but you did, and its somewhat understandable.
However, if this is a person who you spent countless messages talking with, and she interested you enough to actually plan a date with, and you just FORGOT then your in the wrong. I mean one thing is to get caught up in work and getting late or all together having to miss your date, but another thing is to just completely forget it. I mean if the person is a love interest, you just don't forget. At least if your genuine about the feelings. Because for example in my case, I cant help but have that person wander in my thoughts sporadically during the day. So i wont ever really forget. I may not be able to call that person at the time, but I can feel confident enough that I wont forget to call the moment I have the chance to let her know of my plans or change of. Unless its someone Im not interested in or I just met, in which case she dosnt occupy my mind as much. IMO of course |

I am doing just that...giving him a second chance. I hope he doesnt blow it again. I might be skeptical about ever doing it again... Take care, Im sure if you were honest, she will understand. |

In my opinion, that is what we are giving right?,,,I would say ya I could see her giving you a second chance, on the other hand I have made mistakes in my life bad ones, but not something like that. I agree to forget about a love intrest for me is extremely uncommon, I have never forgotten about a date or a meeting, even if I am only interested in being friends. In all honesty if a girl did that to me I can't say that I would give her a second chance. Also keep in mind that if this turns out to be the love of your life then she will always have the first missed meeting in the back of her mind, no matter what you do. Forgive but don't Forget... Just don't make her regret giving you a second chance..... I always liked the way my grandmother put it.... F**k me once shame on you F**k me twice shame on me. kinda had more impact like that... |
