I completely agree, we all make mistakes, that is no dought. But it is not something that happens on a wide scale. Yes people do tend to get caught up in the jobs, life, whatever. But a first date, hard to beleive. The first date says everything about how much you are into that person. I know few if any that forgets about that first date. Mainly because it is so new. And Not to say they didn't feel bad for forgeting they had a date but I jus don't think it's one of those things that happens that often.

well... it HAS happened to me.. granted, only ONCE... and it wasnt a matter of forgeting that i had a date.. it was a matter of forgeting what day of the week i was in.. my job isnt a monday thru fri 9-5 kind of job.. my days get mixed around.. and i get called in alot!
i get lost in what day it is now..
and this happens to alot of people..
and it happens to me alot!
i was kinda glad that it happened.. kinda relieved some of the pressure off of both of us.. and he realized how hectic my job/kids/life are!

I completely get that. My schedule is all over, always wondering which day is what. But the thing is this, in the beginning he made it out to sound as if it was an everyday occurrance and it's not. You ,yourself said it only has happen to you only once. And I get that, once or twise sure an everyday thing I don't think so. I glad their getting a second go at it. Don't forget this time. You may not be so lucky.

Only a referrence to fact that you think alike. And it's not an attack but jus an opion. I myself have never forgot a date. I am extremely busy. I owne to companies always on the go. But I manage to keep things in line. All I'm saying is that it not as common as you make out to be thats all. Or do you think it's something pretty common by todays standards.

I think it was more than a reference b/c if it were I should be dating the rest of the busy preoccupied people in the world.. And NO I don't think it's common at all, but I do think it's understandable if it does happen... I in no way think he's a horrible human being and I'm not mortified by it.. I was simply saying that I've done it as well... Everyone gets caught up in something or other and forgets... Maybe I missed where he said he left her sitting somewhere waiting b/c I so did not take it that way... I always touch base before I set off to go somewhere to meet someone and if I don't talk to them I don't leave until I do...

I don't think he's horrible, I don't think your horrible, and yes it was jus a reference, maybe not worded the best way, but yes jus a reference. Do I think it's understandable sure things happen, no dought. But it's not a common thing, nor is it to be made light of as he did in the beginning of all of this.

I didn't think he did but I know him a bit better I guess and the kind of person he is.. so I knew he wasn't being mean or making light of it.. He was really asking if we thought he was awful for what he did...

That was the original question and the answer to that is simple, no. When he kind of made light of it was a little later down the thread. But is he awful, no not at all. Not to mention you post these things and get made when people give you their opion, which their opion is what your asking for. Doesn't mean we have to agree. In the end it's only an opion. Although we basically agree, 1st that he is not an awful person, 2nd that it is not common, an everyday thing, 3rd we are human we do make mistakes.

I didn't get mad at you opinion when it didn't slam me with a person b/c I have accidentally done the same thing.. That is all I got "annoyed" about.. Other than that when you said what you mean I agreed...
