dear guy..why do guys lie? Is it an evolutionary trait and they just can't help it or what? Guys lie because women have allowed them to get away with it. Women also lie because MEN have allowed them to get away with it. One thing to keep in mind is that both sexes are guilty of trying to " make an impression " on the opposite sex. Sometimes that means that there are things that one person doesn't really want the other to know. Fortunately ( in spite of feelings being hurt or hearts being broken ) we always find out a liar eventually. |

Dear JustAGuy... Why do we use sterile needles for lethal injections? Well...let's say that someone was just about to get their punishment, but a last second reprieve comes in from the Governor or something. If they didn't use sterile needles, then they could be sued for " cruel and unusual punishment " if the person avoiding execution happens to get an infection of some sort because of a non sterile needle. It's basically a case of the state doing a CYA. |

Why does Red, Yellow, Green mean what each means in a stoplight... why did they pick those? Hmmm....this one is something that I can't really come up with a good answer for without breaking out Google. Give me a little while and I will look it up. |

Is there REALLY a "five day rule" for leftovers or is it more/less? In my fridge, it's basically no good once stuff starts growing on it...lmfao Actually..I usually won't use leftovers that are more than a couple of days old. Jake usually winds up with whatever is in the fridge for longer than that. |

You are so much wiser (and a heck of a lot more entertaining) than Google... |

What do you have planned for us for part 2, we are almost there? It depends on if people are really interested in a second incarnation of this thread. If they are, then I'll just continue to do what I have always done. I'll keep giving answers to questions from a guy's perspective. |

What do you have planned for us for part 2, we are almost there? When do they make you go to a second part? I think it's when a thread hits 50 pages long. |

Speaking of "parts"... Why do men wear comb-overs? Heh. I ask myself that every day....lmao I guess it's basically because they are so far in denial about their hair loss that they figure if they use a comb over, it'll hide it or something. Me....once I didn't have enough hair to get a decent haircut, I just started having my head....lmao |

If you attack someone with a flashlight...is assault with a battery?

Why do paperback books have cardboard covers?

If you attack someone with a flashlight...is assault with a battery? No. It would still be assault with intent to do great bodily harm. However. If you take the batteries OUT of the flashlight and start chucking them at someone, THEN it becomes assault with battery... |

Why do we blame it on the dog?

Is there a direct correlation between the age of a man and their habit of walking around outside without pants? (yeah, I had a neighbor...)

It's basically Once the injection is injected...is there any stopping it??? No. At that point, it's beyond anyones control. However, someone can be strapped in and all ready to go, right up to the point of getting the alcohol swab ( yes, they do that too ) and suddenly have a reprieve or a stay in the execution. The IV can be inserted in their arm as well. Until those chemicals actually start flowing, there can be a stoppage. |
