Ok, so I have a while before I have teflon skin.
Will they ever learn to not play on me, or is this the same as climbing? Will they ever learn to walk across me without the claws? Am I asking for too much? |

maybe thats it.. It's gotta be??? My thought is that the "midwestern" guys that are in my area have not quite developed their keen sense of humor and well.. I have one "guy friend" who lives in the area that understands my weirdness, however, he just isn't the dating type.. he's a little more "out there" then I can handle.. wouldn't mind if he came over and played "house boy for a while" but... thats not gonna happen...LOL Your Weirdness??<----     As for the "house boy for a while"...semantics is a good word. Mr. Fix-It visits more often than Mr. P-Whipped.  Sorry for my slow response...been napping with cold/flu shots. |

Maybe for the same reason that women say all the really good men are gay...lol I'm thinking if they are gay, then they really AREN'T 'good' (at least for women!) They might look nice (what a waste from my perspective) or be fun to hang out with (make you feel like a million bucks because there is NO PRESSURE to act on anything flattering that they say) but really -they do have faults :) |

my question would be... Why is it dating in my own area (state, county) is so scarce but I can have wonderful and meaningful conversations with people 1000's of miles away...??? Because the people who are thousands of miles away don't really have to worry about making a good impression, so they can just be themselves. By the same token, YOU aren't particularly looking to be impressed, which allows you to just converse with them rather than trying to gauge your ( and their ) interest level. This answer shows true wisdom!
