When interesting people are thousands of miles away, that's a clue.

Justaguy: What's the clue mean?

LOL
I love your quick wit!

I'm just wondering why we (so many of us) seem to develop good intellectual connections that are far away. Maybe it is just that two or more stars should not occupy the same space too closely.

maybe thats it.. It's gotta be??? My thought is that the "midwestern" guys that are in my area have not quite developed their keen sense of humor and well.. I have one "guy friend" who lives in the area that understands my weirdness, however, he just isn't the dating type.. he's a little more "out there" then I can handle.. wouldn't mind if he came over and played "house boy for a while" but... thats not gonna happen...LOL

Hitting straight is FAR more important than hitting long. It took me quite a while to figure that out and stop trying to kill the ball.

OMG, now that I'm in the mindset I think I have to change today's plans and grab the clubs. Thanks, JustAGuy! Not only can you answer all our profound (or not so) questions...you can direct our life activities and bring us, peace, happiness, personal fufillment and a better golf swing!

Dang! You are GOOD!

Part 1-

When bad things happen to good people, are they getting their "payback" for past bad karma? Or are they suffering now for a great karma experience/reward in the future?

It could be either or. Sometimes " good " people aren't quite as good as you may think. Sometimes, bad stuff happens.

Part 2 -
reverse question... when good things happen to bad people?

That would be God's sick sense of humor.

my question would be...

Why is it dating in my own area (state, county) is so scarce but I can have wonderful and meaningful conversations with people 1000's of miles away...???

Because the people who are thousands of miles away don't really have to worry about making a good impression, so they can just be themselves.

By the same token, YOU aren't particularly looking to be impressed, which allows you to just converse with them rather than trying to gauge your ( and their ) interest level.

And if I may add...why are the only local guys that seem attracted either 1) married or 2) coworkers? (I've seen neither of those work out well!)

Maybe for the same reason that women say all the really good men are gay...lol

I think it's basically because the people that can truly " connect " with us on an individual level are few and far between.

I'm back now, obviously, and the only thing I was thinking about on the course today was why I kept pulling the ball to the left off the tee.

Finally got it figured out...lol

Goo afternoon, how was golf?

Am I destined to be a climbing/scratching post for the rest of my life?

So that's what they mean when they say someone has thick skin? They've developed it after becoming cat people?
